they are from Prodrive off the WRC cars. Cash in hand job (no questions asked) if you use your car daily or do a lot of motorway work then they are not for you.

HI all,

after a long weekend in France (550 miles in 3 days) my car is ready for its final map. 1,500 miles with no issues, which is a testament to the attention to detail that’s gone into this car .

Parts update.

The Clutch used on this car is the Exedy twin plate clutch and flywheel which is amazing after a few hours of driving its feels as normal as the standard clutch which is great when doing multiple hill starts while boarding the ferry.

I sadly even love the noise that these types of clutches make with the new induction and exhaust set up really gives a sense of theatre. I will get RCM to send me a PDF of all the parts used so i can give a better representation of the spec that RCM have built. Its save to say they have one very pleased (over the moon) customer.

All the parts have come from RCM, I think it’s a new product so they sent a photo so i could have a better understanding of the transformation (and it looks cool)

I have the same Anti surge kit on mine Chris and it works well.

If you track day your car it will still be advisable to have a third of a tank minimum. (fuel)

I done a few laps at Snetters running quarter of a tank of fuel and still had fuel starvation exiting Sears bend so make sure you have enough fuel in the tank.

Hi Chris, Have you managed to get it mapped yet. I got my mirrors at last, but i didn't like them on my wagon, LOL. I have also managed to get a Spec C Anti Surge 10bar fuel Pump like yours, its a GSR one. That will save me going down the Swirl Pot Route. A lot less noise and fuel smells.

Amazing car!
What turbo are you running?
Is it not possible to fit a belt cover over the alternator/cambelt to protect it from stones etc.?
Looking forward to the full spec!

Update time.

Picked up my car last week from RCM, over the moon with the finished result. The way the power is produced is amazing very limited lag, and it just pulls like a train all the way to the red line. They also finished off a few of the cosmetic changes to get it very close to perfect. (a few more tweaks to come)

Big thanks has to go out to Paul (zen) who had two sessions mapping the car, it ended up going down to the dyno to make sure it was perfect. I have never really been interested in dyno figures as its more about how it drives however she ran 460 Bhp with one run. Time will tell if I want to go twisted and push the envelope but all the parts are in place to take much much more.

Setting 1 is a economy mode 6-7 are the fun settings 7 being full power with added anti Lag (I Love it)
