go to dell outlet (google it) they sell new pcs that have already been reconfigured for someone else (commerically normally) and the order has been cancelled. Dell can't be bothered to strip the configured ones down, so they just sell them off cheaper than usual.
I have bought indirectly 5 computers of here, all were brand new fully boxed with normal warranties and customer service related options...

I think their drives are new and covered by the dell warranty just in case.. I can't imagine Dell bothering to repair a drive, they'd just stick a new one in !?!? Having said that even new hard drives fail, so everyone's shares their own risk (re back up etc).
The wireless N is a nice feature on yours though, not sure if the dell one's go up that quick. I personally would go for something smaller and with a bit more oomph, but then I keep my laptops for ages... if you're an internet/itunes/email guy then 199 is a good place to start... (vista a ball ache though) would rather xp than vista..

There is the option to downgrade to XP in the box.

Dell clearly state that the units you have listed are fitted with secondhand re-furbished hard drives ..... not really worth £350 IMO
