I assume you are referring to the exhaust manifold. Without actually seeing one I have no idea if it would be possible to improve on what Subaru have already done. I would suspect, regardless, that some porting of the exhaust manifold would show gains but whether it would be worthwhile I have no means of knowing at present and I would only be able to pass further comment if you were to send me an actual manifold.
It may be that you can port your own manifold if I outlined what is required.

hi harvey. do you or have you ever done any for a hawkeye 2.0 n/a model as the pipes are different to a turbo???? would you ever consider doing any if you were asked???

yes i was specifically on about the exhaust manifold. the earlier sports had them changed to give them abit more of the impreza "burble" but i cant find anywhere that does a version for the hawkeye sport except for hayward & scott but they want £1000 for it
.a few more bhp would be nice but. were abouts are u based?? i wouldnt be able to send the manifold but i may be able to have a drive over???
Get a picture of under your car for the manifold. When I had my old Sport, I literally just replaced the exhaust manifold for an unequal one from Borla, and I had the burble big time! There are many a cheap replica on eBay though. I can't imagine they would have changed the manifolds on the non-turbos, they didn't change them much on the turbo models..

i thought that but there are no manifolds listed on ebay for an 06 model sport, they only go up to 05
and i dont want to risk buying the ones listed as they are coming from the usa and it is wrong.i will see if i can get a pic tommorrow

Just joking fella, I actually totally agree with you Kosta but it seems to be the norm nowadays even if someone simply bumps into your door with a shopping trolley they suddenly get neck spasms lol.
Open a Photobucket account, then copy and paste the image code into here then they come up, you can do a preview first before you post it just to make sure you've copied and pasted the right code.
