haha we will indeed. Be interesting to see how this race format works.
As Mark says it would be great to have reverse order of fastest in the 30min session. Make the racing more interesting as the faster guys try to get by

it would make it very interesting but what would stop any of us from purposely setting slow times to start at the front?

)Shaid that looks great! Shame about your engine
It clearly shows that I am the bollox! If only I had not spun on that damn manhole cover on the first lap of the first race and then having 4 duff karts things may have been different. Shame I can't go to the rematch a full 30min would have been ace. (Yes I am that **** I kept all the time sheets
)

Pics look amazing Shaid
sorry to hear about the engine though pal, on the other hand though can I be cheeky and ask how much the trip has cost you? as I'm quite liking the idea of doing something like this myself

Gone are the days when we could go on holiday and feel like we are kings. When a fillet o fish is nearly 6 euros it brings things into perspective.
I took 1100 euro cash thinking it will be enough for fuel and food. It ran out by the sixth day! (we were away for ten days).
Rough workout;
- Hotel @ average 50 Euro a night
- Breakfast would be at the hotel so snacks and an evening meal would be roughly 30 Euro a day
- Petrol (98 Ron or above only) would be approx one and a half tank a day so lets call it approx 100 Euro
Thats around 1800 Euro but there is always something else which takes your money away like French toll roads, the Swiss motorway tax disk, entrance into various places, the underground train system.
All together i'd say around £1800 for the trip (two people sharing rooms and in a car) and that is not getting the car serviced, tyres, wipers etc to make sure it is roadworthy enough to do it and that does not include track time or 102 ron fuel that was sold next to the track. I spent a bit of money making sure my car was upto scratch but it was ultimately the track session that killed it.
It also doesn't include the bumming i received after i lost my passport (don't ever do that things get really expensive).
Basically take £2000 with you for a nice ten days.
If like me you insist on losing your passport and blowing up your engine and leaving the car stranded in Germany only to be told by ADAC that the car is not worth them bringing back meaning i've got to spend £700 odd arranging recovery myself then the cost of a new engine and not to mention the rip off 251 euro i was charged for the Eurotunnel train from Paris to London. Basically take out travel insurance and a good credit card with you in case things go pear shaped.
PS - You know when your with your mates and you point at various women and agree that 'yep, she'd get it' it is actually easier in Paris to choose which ones won't get it! Trust me the eye candy is worth it
