Surely it was private property? Am I right in thinking if you have permission to do it from the owners of said car park they can't do sod all about it? I'm guessing you were on cctv and were reported by owners police would have had a word there and then if they were present. Had trouble with some neighbours the beginning of the year threatening to break the windows while I was away working (something they don't do themselves) and had to BOOK the police to come and have a word with them the following day! I'm afraid picking on motorists is clean cut easy work for them. I would invite you all over here next time away from prying eyes, my yard is nice and big but the risk of hitting one of our trucks is a bit too much.
