What single purchased product in your possession has impressed you over the years with its quality and reliability?
My contender is our sofa and matching armchair, which was bought from the London outlet of Delcor furniture, Newcastle.
Not cheap by some standards, but both pieces still look like new 13 years, 1 marriage and 2 children later.
I still haven't seen any other sofa that I would wish to replace it with.
So it's a Big Thumbs Up for the Geordie Craftsmen at Delcor furniture from me.

I think this post needs to be qualified with some photos so we can also decide whether it looks as good as new after 13 years.
Mine is a Costume Homme leather jacket that I bought from Harvey Nicks in 1992 for £450 (alot of money back then). Never seen anything like it anywhere else since, and people always still ask me where I got it from

A Schott Leather US Navy Pea Jacket - had it for about 15 years, worn it every day each winter and it is only just started to get the broken in look. In that time the pocket linings have picked up a couple of holes (car keys) and one button has worked itself a little loose.

I've still got this Mobile Phone in the car ....
It's still on contract to Orange .... still works really well .... not used much, in fact the monthly bill is about 15p .... carried over from month to month (can't believe they still send me the bill, it costs them more to tell me I owe them pennies than they ever see from me!)
Must be well over 10 years old now .... I actually have two working handsets but only one (credit sized) SIM Card
It's the size of a house brick ... pretty much!

My old philips crt monitor I got along with my Atari ST in '86 is still in use today. Built in sound works fine, all the inputs work and the picture quality hasn't degarded at all. They really don't build them like that anymore!
