Thanks, but no need for the spare key, someone has had the Koni's.
I was hoping for a nice bonus, but not to be

Never mind, going to get it back to road worthy and then think about potential upgrades

Although I could probably get more power, I think I am going to concentrate on getting other things done right first.

No rev counter, need MK3 clocks for that to work, might try and get the hydralic clutch in as well. Need new wheels and after that, might looks at brakes and susp.

ok, so had the report back from the garage:

NSF Spring is gone, getting both replaced.
Both front top mount bearings are gone.
OS Rear axle bush is gone
3 out of 3 exhaust brackets are gone, being held on by elastic bands at the moment
Passenger door Handle gubbed - replaced
Clutch de-stiffened a bit, will need to have a drive before deciding whether or not to go with the full hydralic set up or not.
All done, and ready for a weekend blast £340 all in, cheers Jayce

Next week should see the new clocks in (source some Corrado ones which should plug and play), oil pressure switch replaced, new rad and full service.
Managed to setup a swap to change the Ronal Turbo wheels from a set of BBS RA's.
Need to source a strut brace as well.

Will report back after a weekend of fun, assuming I don't place it into a lamp post

and you have only had it a week or so

good luck with it -- as I said, I loved owning it and looked after it pretty well i think

it is full of good memories for me

Still to do:

Fit Mk3 clocks so that the rev counter works.
Replace Air filter
Sort out slow electric windows.
Fit central Locking
Fix air distribution flappy thing.
Hydralic Clutch conversion.

Then tidy up body work, then more power.

Sounds like your F355 was cheaper to run than this old mongrel!

Loving it. I have not really had many issues as such. Loads to do, but the water pump is the first surprise. With the engine out I will be relacing a few other bits at the same time.

Not really the car to have if you are on a tight budget and I am not one to do things myself. Paid £1500 for it and will have put another 1k into it by the time the water pump is replaced.
That should be about for the more expensive stuff, apart from the hydralic clutch conversion which I want to do ASAP.

Car drives really well, pulls and pulls and makes a great noise.

Never mind selling it, swap it with mine

My plan is to run mine for a while and if I get on with it (which I have so far), then I want to buy a minter.

What sort of price would you be thinking for yours if you were to sell?

If i sell her i would not have a clue what to ask for, i know how much it cost just for the engine work and smoothing out the engine bay, hiding the wiring, the leather seats the bbs oh my god i hope she never goes n here

should let her go as just got too many projects on the go and haven't used this in over a year now

Have a think and pm me a ball park figure. If you want mine as a swap with it, then all the better. Just give me an idea, I won't hold you to it
