afternoon kev, without going through a few 1000 posts what is the best turbo you have for a fully forged 2.0 with all supporting mods, also what figure can be achieved
cheers jim
Hi,
the SC 42 Billet is one we have made specifically for the 2.0 ltr forged engines, we used to use the SC46 Billet and in some cases still do, results on 2.0 ltr cars are on page 90 posted by Glen and Lee.
Good result on your car Immy. Do you have a graph showing boost vs rpm?
How you enjoying it, got used to the power yet? :-)
Just on the train going to pick the car up, will be arranging for a remap within the next couple of weeks.
Stu
Stu it's awesome !!! it actually feels quicker than your set up from what I can remember.
I know your car was only running at 70% though on the running in map however it was still very quick.
Give us a shout tomorrow if your free and come and have a drive

Glad you like it, hopefully I will have the same feeling after my remap!
I'm not back in Manchester till Monday, I'll give you a shout when I'm free.
Do you reckon on a 2.0L (not a 2.1), and on VP only, it'd make 340+?
Hi,
it should do without any problems, we have done quite a lot of these, they are a stunning turbocharger, well balanced and not fussy at all, they seem to work on anything.
hi kev @ scooby clinic im after a turbo upgrade im running a tdo6 20g but the cartridge is leaking oil out the comp side thro oil pressure what turbo do u recomend that is a direct fit to that using the same oil feed as iv got a problem on the oil feed into engine!! i cant take it out as the threads are on the last legs so bolted a longer bolt into engine and dont want to change the feed as it is the genuine td05 oil feed can u help me out im wanting 500+ bhp

Hi,
cannot help with that one I am afraid.
The biggest sleeve bearing turbo we do is the SC40 Billet, if you want something for 500 BHP it would have to be the SC50 or 54 Billet which are roller bearing units and require a different oil feed pipe.
just thought there... they do a piece that fits into the banjo screw that piece to the oil feed pipe so im ok to upgrade to any turbo with a 56mm intake is the md321t the best to go for?

Hi,
bit of a strange question that on a scooby clinic turbo thread.
I would recommend the SC42 or the SC46 Billet as these are the new breed of Billet turbo's, the MD series was and still are a great range but they have been surpassed by our Billet wheeled ones.
Mark is testing his new MD billet range but they are not yet available as far as I know, however that question can be answered on the MD billet thread in trader announcements .
First graph straight "V" power, 424.6 BHP, second graph 20% meth mix, 451.6 BHP.
Stunning results for both Glen and Lee, SC46 doing performing as usual and the new SC42 doing exactly what it says on the tin, having the edge on spool which is exactly what it was designed for on a 2.0 ltr.
Great mapping by Simon and a good day had by all.
cheers
Kev
just a quick point.both mine and glenns cars were both mapped with around 15% meth and not 20%.
