scoobyclinics turbo's just got billet I mean better!
Sounds pretty unlikely regarding the bad batch/not V power, but then again, who knows.. Certainly doesn't hurt to try as suggested, or maybe by adding octane booster.
I have had one fitted to my car for almost 3 years now and its fine, easy to operate and holds on to 576 BHP no problem.
seen performing at the scoobyshootout 2 years on the trot.

cheers
Kev
That doesn't tell me anything, and of course it differs between cars, but just to give you an idea..

From: Trying to pull a 10 second 1/4 mile running a standard 2.0ltr engine...
How do you run a 6 speed clutch and flywheel on a 5 speed box kev, dont you have to hack the splines off the housing or something along those lines...please tell.
@Kev...Also do you have the extreme 5 speed clutches in stock as i need a clutch and flywheel before mapping day on the 16th at your place.

Hi,
5 speeders also in stock.
To get the bigger driven plate 6 speed clutch and flywheel to fit a 5 speed box you have to "dremmel" out a fair bit of bell housing, works a treat, no spline hacking needed.

Kev I need an Sc46 within next week, will this clutch complement that on a 03 sti?
oh the sc42 this is the one im waiting for just need to get some results on a built 2.o ps would an ap racing not take this power as i have heard people running 450hp with these clutch for a couple of years
but then they probally only use them as a fast road car like myself as i have just had an ap fitted ready for some sc42 action

kebab digested, not true actually it was a chicken in black bean sauce today,
here is Pats take on it.................

Timing looks about right, it could just be the mismatch of parts used or just one of those cars, to sort it you will have to port the exhaust housing, don't go mad just add a radius to the the waste-gate throat, not the button, take off any sharp edges with a dremmel, don't make it any bigger just smooth it out a bit.
Pat also says its far more likely on a 2.5 than it is on a 2.0 ltr engine, which is true now I think about it as we have had to port at least 50% of the 2.5 standard turbo charger cars when we have them in for mapping.

It does sometimes happen that a certain set of mods don't work together and cause issues like yours, still worth a try with some E 85 and a map tweak though.

where did the flywheel bit come from,

Wishful thinking me thinks, flywheels are in stock, £295.00 gets you a Chrome moly 6.3 kg Billet one.

We also do a 5 speed kit that comes with a Chrome Moly billet flywheel, a 240 mm organic disc and an uprated cover with 1350kg clamping at £639.95.
All prices + vat.
cheers
