Hi,

the SC 42 Billet is one we have made specifically for the 2.0 ltr forged engines, we used to use the SC46 Billet and in some cases still do, results on 2.0 ltr cars are on page 90 posted by Glen and Lee.

Hi,

watch those temperatures, its given a hot day.

We know what happens to top mount inter-coolers when stood, they become top mount inter-warmers.

Have a good un

So true!

Unfortunately Kev you know as much as me...... dyno figures are all that some look for and peak figures at that!

As regards to the difference in ramp rate between 4th and 5th. So we can agree its between 200 > 499rpm then.

Anyway.... back to your turbos!

Good result on your car Immy. Do you have a graph showing boost vs rpm?

How you enjoying it, got used to the power yet? :-)

Just on the train going to pick the car up, will be arranging for a remap within the next couple of weeks.

Stu it's awesome !!! it actually feels quicker than your set up from what I can remember.
I know your car was only running at 70% though on the running in map however it was still very quick.

Give us a shout tomorrow if your free and come and have a drive

2.1 stroked engine with SC36 Billet and a 20% meth/V power mix, managed by Simtec.

Stunning on the road.

Do you reckon on a 2.0L (not a 2.1), and on VP only, it'd make 340+?

Banny,
You gonna map for VPower as well as a Meth mix?

Would be interested in your VPower graphs for sure.

Hi,

we have one sat on the shelf waiting to be tested but this one has the bigger exhaust housing more suited to bigger capacity engines than the 2.0 ltr.

Hi,

it should do without any problems, we have done quite a lot of these, they are a stunning turbocharger, well balanced and not fussy at all, they seem to work on anything.

cheers

Hi,

cannot help with that one I am afraid.

The biggest sleeve bearing turbo we do is the SC40 Billet, if you want something for 500 BHP it would have to be the SC50 or 54 Billet which are roller bearing units and require a different oil feed pipe.

cheers

Hi,

bit of a strange question that on a scooby clinic turbo thread.

I would recommend the SC42 or the SC46 Billet as these are the new breed of Billet turbo's, the MD series was and still are a great range but they have been surpassed by our Billet wheeled ones.

Mark is testing his new MD billet range but they are not yet available as far as I know, however that question can be answered on the MD billet thread in trader announcements .

Cheers
Kev

Stunning results for both Glen and Lee, SC46 doing performing as usual and the new SC42 doing exactly what it says on the tin, having the edge on spool which is exactly what it was designed for on a 2.0 ltr.

Great mapping by Simon and a good day had by all.

just a quick point.both mine and glenns cars were both mapped with around 15% meth and not 20%.
