No... as I refuse to follow the crowd.

But I expect I will need one at some point in the future, but need to see how things go first with what I have.

I will be logging and testing on the road though.... not on a dyno, since I don't drive the car on a dyno much.

ROFLOL @ TX

For once I'm not doing the arguing as I don't want egg on my face until I have done the initial testing.

Anyway... as you were with the SC Turbo discussion.

I'm looking new turbo to my car the one I have is broken.
Have an STI 2003 2.0L with full forged bottom that I run on E85.
Currently has an old Blouch Dom III not the XT-R model.
Drove a little 1/4 mile this weekend and then the turbo gave up so now it sounds really bad and I need a new.

I've looked at SC46 if it can be a good choice for me.

Post my previous dyno results here.
It is @ 1.8 bar and the power is at the wheels. 367,9hp and 424,2nm

Do you think a SC46 will perform better on my engine?
And maybe give me some more power?

Hi,

I think an SC42 Billet or the SC46 billet would do the job nicely.

cheers

Ok now i get it!

You got the SC46?

I like to try to push it as far as i can but with reliability.
we tried with 2 bar but the intake temp went up so we stopped at 1.8
Maybe we can push the SC46 to 2 bar!

Well it would be something.
But that does not fit on my exhaust and it gets very expensive.

Had pretty much lag on my Blouch turbo but I thought it was ok.
Think that SC46 will spool faster.

But you have all ready Blouch Dom 3,which is rated to 500bhp@flywheel.
You have billet or non billet version?

SC46 is Blouch Dominator 2.5XT-R,i'm running 3.0XT-R(which is SC50 here) on 2.1...

Yes i have it but it is broken now so i need a new turbo.
I have the non billet version.

The XT-R version spools better then the non billet right.

so maybe I can get boost a few hundred rpm earlier with the SC50 billet instead of my old non billet Dom III?

I'd go sc46 rather than sc50 on a 2 litre
It will spool quicker and give you high 400s hp than old turbo
And if your adding e85 or meth even more and quicker too

Quick Reply: scoobyclinics turbo's just got billet I mean better!
