Martyn - How would I know if the AVCS was or was not working? Apparently the TiP was one of their newer versions which is stronger, but I'm not so sure. Might have to look into getting a different one

JGM - I thought it was going to be much more technical than that haha

If you compare peak power rpm to another similar spec it seems to be at higher rpm.
Therefore maybe the rpm is 500rpm out which would put spool where it should be.

No easy way to check vvt without a laptop

Looks mega laggy compared to my 46, also 14 to 1? is that a bit lean even for low power?

JGM - Before I started the engine management light was on, I presumed for fuelling but apparently it was cam position sensor, but once turned off it hasn't come back on, could that be the issue?

Tidgy - I presume you're is a hawk with a 2.5 so not really comparable, and I have no idea where you got the 14 to 1 from? unless it was a typo and you mean 14 to 11, but I still don't really know what it means haha

Carefully placed jubilee clips on the outside of the pipe to make it retain shape.

That graph shows you around 14.4 AFR cruise which is fine then as the boost raises around the 2.5k RPM range(td04 at a guess) the AFR drops as it should do to 11 in boost, Well that's what I see

I know you didn't ask for this, but on a built 2.5 I'd suggest go with a FMIC and a bigger turbo.
The TMIC will get you near to 400 and acceleration and spool will be bonkers on a 2.5, but tbh with the 2.5 you won't suffer from the lag you would on a 2.0 with a FMIC fitted.
And the extra torque will bring it through.

I'd have said buy an SC42 or even SC46 and go FMIC with that setup.
Good for 420-430 all day long on the SC42 and 460+ on a SC46.

Add meth and you're looking at 500+. Just a thought

Ask Simon, I know he's mapped a load of these turbos and recently did a Hawk with an SC46
