Gaffer do you know if at some point you will be offering the ver 3 billet wheels as upgrades at any point interested if there is a good leap in spool between 1 and 3. Always a bonus.

Default SC46 2.1 Enginetuner stroker

In the spirit of keeping useful information in the same place . . .

A SC46 on 2.1 stroked/forged CDB (1500 miles on the package so far), standard heads, v-power plus usauly supporting modifications (FMIC, injectors, gearbox, clutch etc etc):

Drives very nicely on the road - a practical combination that still returns good figures. Plenty of low down pull - far more than my VF34 which it replaced on my 2.0 engine.

As above. It's a UK WRX and the original heads were retained.

Almost makes the 46 pointless. Simon, do you think a 2L with V3 STI heads would be better on an SC42 rather than a SC46 or perhaps an MDX321T?
Thanks, Richard.

No the 46 would make more still than 42.

The above car made 440 on 20meth mix on an sc40 lol

There was def more power to be had from the car but we thought this was enough at respectable boost on a standard sti engine.

To be fare Ian all the scoobyclinic billet turbo`s seem to box way above there weights with the correct supporting mods, for instance i know of an SC36 making circa 440bhp on one of the clinic track cars, incredible power from what is essentially a TD05 16G on steroids.

THE SC BILLET RANGE ARE FANTASTIC PROVEN TURBO`S THAT ARE WAY AHEAD OF THE COMPETITION.....SIMPLES.

So the rumours are definitely true. I'm shocked that a 420 BHP turbo can find an extra 80 odd horses from a dash of Meth. I have a big turbo choice dilemma at the moment & I'm starting to edge towards the 42 over the 46 or the MDX range. If I go for the 42 I'm assuming that spool will be far better than the 46. What's your full spec?
Thanks, Richard.

Yes the 42 will spool quicker than the 46,but the 46 should give a little more top end power due to the bigger exhaust wheel,Richard check out my garage for the car`s spec buddy.

Carried out some more testing on the little SC32 Billet today.
Injectors stopped play last time on this particular car, so a set of 440's were fitted and a little tweak carried out.
Still far from ringing it's neck at just 1.1 bar, it performs very well

Bloody hell Martyn that little thing comes into boost early!!
Looks like it would make a VERY responsive drive.

With a few select supporting mods and an increase in boost thers`s scope for a rapid point to point road rocket in the making with one of them little fella`s fitted.

I think so too. This particular car only has a decat, rear box, injectors, pump, filter and an Alcatek ecu. The stock tomount isn't in the best of conditions either.
I think with a full exhaust, headers a front mount and a tweak to 1.4 bar she'll fly.
And all from a turbo which costs just £495 on an exchange basis.
Kinda makes you wonder why people search for second hand Vf28s and 34s
