Steve From talking to Kev about the 33, from what i can gather because the 30 BILLET is so good and doing so much BHP, and the billet 35 is so good on spool.. that there really isnt a place for the 33 to justify itself.. May be i took it up wrong

Hi,

as said the GT30 billet is so good, many of them achieving well over 600 BHP, the GT35 Billet with its new clip spooling even quicker than before, producing figures way above 700 BHP, there seems to be little or no place for the GT33 Billet.

Not only that the GT33 never seemed to work correctly, under test on the odd car it was stunning but on most it was poor to say the least, a very fussy unit, unlike both GT30 and GT35 Billet, they work well on anything we put them on.

We are testing an all new SC38 ball bearing Billet this week, if it does what we hope then it may set the cat amongst the pigeons with the direct fit turbo range being reviewed.

Cheers
Kev

Hi,

as promised some GT35 Billet graphs on "V" power, please note "V" power without meth.

Name: 35billetVpower.jpg

Engine spec is a 2.33, STI 4 heads and supertech valves with DH22 profile cams dialled in with vernier pulleys, Marle power pack plus forged pistons, GT35 Billet turbo all managed by the Syvecs ECU.

definitely a brown trouser car on the road.

cheers

Is that not quite a low redline? Surely it would make more power with a higher rev range as it looked like it'd still climb before the fuel cut

Or is it a freshly built engine so taking it easy on revs?

Nice one Kev, not much boost needed there to do 600bhp.

Mapped one of our 2.1 strokers on an SC42 roller bearing Billet today, effortlessly made just shy of 420bhp @ 1.5 bar on Vpower. Will post graphs on the owners behalf tomorrow along with the results from mapping another car with an identical spec but with a DEI cryo intercooler spray bar.
Will run it with and without the CO2 to see how much of a difference it makes even on a nice efficient front mount.

Hi,

if you look at the last tip on the power graph you will see a misfire which is why we rev limited it today, next week he is coming back for us to fit later coil packs and re wire to suit, boost control will be handed over to the syvecs.

Today was to see if we could hit the customers desired figure on "V" power so he could have a play for a bit with a revisit to sort the misfire, we have of course sent the car out safe.

cheers
