It was like riding a dining chair at 50mph, it's not right I tell you.
I know what you mean I too have had sports bikes, but moved to SuperMoto style, so I am used to sitting up.

The bit that is wierd on a scooter is the handling characteristics of a small wheeled bike, its hard to explain, but its like riding a childs micro scooter.

I wizzed out earlier in the dark to check the lights, they where good, infact 100 times better than the CCM.

The headlights are blue xenon and the high beam and low beam pods are placed separate across the fairing, so when you switch from high to low the lights flick across the fairing, people soon get out of your way...

The dash lights are a light blue much like the lume from my SeaDwellerDeepSea..

The road tax was £33 for 12months, and I was offered the option of 6months, which I found amusing..

To fill the tank from empty takes £12 worth of petrol.

I wont be doing any donuts as the one posted looks gay as ****.

Whats it for though ? you have a few cars and a bike already (is that off road only) and I got the impression that you were the person least likely to ever ride something even vaguely moped shaped.

I havent the faintest idea what its for, I have been kidding myself that I was going to use it for work......but I wont.

There are times when my Mrs may say, just nip to the chippy, Ive done a meal we just need chips, or have you put the lotto on, we need milk..etc...I think its good for that as there is no shuffling cars about on the path. Just throw me lid on and rev and rip.

I was looking at at a Raptor Quad, but when I saw it in the flesh it was too big, it wouldnt fit in the garage without shuffling cars about, and wouldnt fit in the caged bikes sheds at work. Also when I phoned my insurance they refered me to the underwriters and didnt get back.

Whilst there at the shop I saw this scooter, the guy explained what it was, and what it did, and had to have it..

The CCM is a SuperMoto road bike, not used much either, I belive wholeheartedly that I will die on this bike.

I often suffer from buyers blues, its a feeling I get when Ive bought something I shouldnt, Im waiting for a severe attack...

Its not geared for top speed, more for rapid acceleration, but the clock MAX is 90, and the needle goes around to Nippon Seiki.

Its never been off road, it was bought for road riding.

I am looking for something for off road. Dont know if you have ever been to Blackrock sands in North Wales, flat sand area going for a couple of miles, ideal for some fun.

Yes I have, but never on a bike.

I have riden the Southport beach race and The Blackpool beach race, both large ovals with moguls on the seafront side.

Sand and salt water kills bikes, you can go through a chain and sprocket set on a 2 hour stint.

I have had off road bikes in my youth, Maico's/Montessa's/XL's/RM's/Cr's and the best was a Gori 250 with a seven speed Sachs engine, but its too much fooking around now with a van or trailer and people moaning, police chaseing etc...

Too much like hard work.

Well, being as you've no idea why you bought it, and you only paid £250 I'll give you £150 to take it off your hands and put it to some proper use!!

I may give the impression that Im a bit stupid, but even I know that £250 plus £33 pound road tax, plus £12 worth of fuel adds up to £178.....

Unfortunately I shall have to decline your offer, as I have had a better one.

As many free babysits as I require, free haircuts for life, hoover the cars, clean the fish tank, etc...{sounds like cinderella}.

Talk about scooters attracting tracksuit clad scallies, doesnt get more scally than this...

All scallied up....
