Have you ever felt the urge...
To buy a rev and go scooter ?
I have fond memeries of jumping on a rented one, and blatting around Tenerife' and Lanzorote', shorts and T shirt, Bikini clad bird on the back, no lid etc, but there it was hot, and everyone had one.
Now why would I have the irrational need to buy one here, no sunshine, wearing a lid, cold dark nights, WTF have I done.
Anyone got one, or use one for work maybe ?
Tell me youve all either got one, or want one.....please.
What is the disorder called were you see something and have to have it....even though you dont need it, or have any use for it....something just clicks and you HAVE to have it.

lol you are not alone.
I think about them for a split second whenever I am changing how I travel to work.
But sadly I would not feel safe commuting on one around ere.
I think the order is called "being a woman" .... thats what they do, right ?

Closest I ever got to owning a twist and go is a Honda Dax.
We used to stick it on the back of the motorhome.
Suprisingly quite good at popping wheelies, but other than that I never really had the urge to use it for anything other than popping down to the shops for some bread.

What do you mean IF...its getting delivered on Saturday, just in time for the rain.
I have a nasty image in my head now of the top scally on his rev and rip, wearing his spiderman hoody, trackies, and nike110's. Doing burnouts outside the local offy.
Pictures to follow...

Here it is.....well not actually my one, as its not here until Saturday, but the exact colour and model.
A couple of questions please....
If I have applied and paid for insurance, but the documents have not arrived, am I still covered to ride the bike ?
The e-mail confirmation says Im covered from 15/9/09 1800hrs, but there is a postal strike on, so I dont think the documents will be here on Saturday.
Also I didnt confirm as to whether it was taxed, if its not, do I need a proper Insurance document to tax it ?
Hoodie, trackie, and 110's are all at the ready....cant wait.
TIA

I've thought about getting one, just to go to work on really instead of driving the 2 miles in the scoob, as it doesn't always get the oil up to temp. Plus it would save some fuel.......
Although, buying it, tax, insurance, plus a helmet would probably pay the the fuel in the scoob.
How much was that Yoza if you don't mind me asking?

hehe, yeah that's part of what I worry about sometimes, as I do shift too. On a Monday morning, I start the scoob up at 4.30am, so I'm sure I wake some people up.....well I'm sure I do as they have commented!
Where was that from? Looks fantastic for £250!!! Do you need to do a CBT or what ever they are? Or can you just jump straight on?

You need to pass your test I think, as its a 250cc.
Im not sure how it works now as I passed my test 15 years ago, and once you passes you could ride what you liked.

Due to the fact that the weather was nice today, I picked up my own bike rather than waiting for tomorrows delivery....
It was more fun than I imagined, although a bit wierd wizzing along the M56 on a scooter at 80MPH, which actually feels like 150MPH.....
On a local airstrip the scooter tops out at an indicated 94MPH, but it is more happy sitting at 80MPH.
It accelerates hard to 60MPH then levels out.
Cheese anyone...
I went for a spin to the Albert Dock at about 1530hrs and the scooter was ideal for the rush hour traffic, easy to whizz in and out of traffic, and plenty of power to accelerate away from trouble.
So at the moment I like my new toy....
Cant wait for it to go dark so I can sit off outside the Chippy, and do some donuts in front of the local chicks...
