A log fire and a nice glass of red.
That first day of autumn when the light changes, there's a nip in the air and the smell of woodsmoke.
The first sip from a glass of wine in the evening.
The smell of fresh cut grass.
Roast dinners.

Oh here we go again, like Matteeboy, Nat is now getting a slapping down, card has been marked.
Pistonheads, ok there is backbiting over there but guess what, they sometimes discuss cars as well !

And they both deserve it, Scoobynet used to be a decent forum! Being a troll is all well and good, as long as you're amusing. Neither of them manage that, they're just annoying idiots. IMHO.
Anchor is horrid.
Cold Lurpak on a warm fresh croissant with top quality raspberry jam, or
ultra-fresh french bread, Lurpak dipped in quality hot chocolate - the salt of the butter and the sweet of the chocolate - mmmmmmm!
Sitting on the banks of the river Swale at dawn watching the water gently steam as it is warm in the cool morning light. Seeing a double figure barbel gently ease out of the weed beds to have his breakfast. That is enough for me now, actually catching them almost gets in they way of the joy of seeing them majestically swimming about.
Watching a massive carp float around like a barrel on a still day, sucking down bits of floating crust through the thick, oily surface.
Watching my three year old - as he just has done - make fascinating things with his Kid K'nex - he has just made Captain Hook complete with a hook on is hand!

The smell of fresh mown grass on a baby's head in front of a roaring log fire on a snowy winters morning while watching the Caribbean sunset enjoying a glass of improbably rare and expensive wine and eating freshly made toast and butter at the same time as helping an old lady across the road whilst wearing my favourite handmade £400 T shirt and [insert tired old lifestyle cliche here].
Oh, and Andrex Quilts - finally the inherent risk of a one sheeter is banished

I enjoy a nice cold beer after mowing the lawn (well grass patch) on a nice sunday summer afternoon, especially after the other half has cut the grass
