Simple Pleasures

Simple Pleasures
I think on here we tend to focus too much on expensive stuff, holidays, cars, watches and electronics, I find that generally most purchases involve a degree of dissapointment where the best bit of the procedure is the anticipation so I think we should list things we enjoy that dont cost much if anything.
Examples,
Two rounds of toast (cheap white bread), Salted butter and a cup of instant coffee this morning, it was fantastic.
Bag of chips from a good chippy, eaten outside on a winters night.
My ride to work through the Cheshire countryside.
Copy of the Autotrader and half an hour spare to sit in the only place for reading it.
Fixing something that has been broken for ages.
Getting to the Barbers when there are a few waiting and reading this months FHM cover to cover in absolute peace.

Hitting a six last night for my cricket team.
Birdying a hole on a golf course.
The feeling of my heart pumping and being alive after a hour of squash/badminton/tennis (even better if I have won).
Having a drink and chat with old friends.

Strap-on sex with a reach around, you can't beat it. (well technically you can still beat 'it', but why bark when you have a dog ?)

This is how i live my life now.
Other than hobby of watches and making money from them and jewellery/diamonds i live a very simple life now.
No car, don't drive
No gadgets, phone only txts and calls people, hardly ever have it on as no signal here.
Lots of hard work in garden and around house
Lots of helping people
Lots of walking, running, exercising.
Hardly any alcohol
Only eat simple healthy foods
It's the way to be

The lowest cost pleasure I have is waking up early on a Sunday morning before everyone else in the house, making a cup of coffee, strictly no TV and reading a magazine or a book.
My trains cost quite alot but the "playing" aspect costs me nothing and is quite relaxing.
Thats a good one. Would never buy an FHM but when I used to go to a barbers I'd look forward to reading it.

It's what i want for the next few years. Far from boring, i'm never bored.
For the last 10 years i partied every weekend all over the UK, traveled and partied in every continent on the globe (apart from South America but i'm sorting that next Feb for a month), drove 100's of nice cars, went to hundreds of great places, bought loads of amazing things, fooked loads of fit birds and done a whole load more...
Enough now.
Now i'm chilling and leading/trying a different life

Simple pleasures are hard to come by in my life at the moment
I thought i was going to get one today, the lad who usually works today wanted a holiday, so i am working 8am till 6.30 on my lonesome.
Its a nice day outside, and i nearly managed to sit down and eat all my dinner, before some arrogant arsehole turned up
1st day off tomorrow for over a month now that will be an awesome "simple pleasure"
Well i am working 8.00-10.30am so not a full day off, but as good as

Watching bees in the garden.
First asparagus of the season.
Clean sheets.
Sleeping in my own bed after being away.
The smell of linseed oil.
Burying my face in my *****'s fur and inhaling deeply.
