What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare

Life these days is pretty much too busy for the simplistic things.. theres lots I miss.. lots I love.. but never have time for. A sad, sad reality of the hurly burly, hustle and bustle of modern day life.
*but I guess my one little luxury is the smell of Poontang in the morning

Nat on the {couple} of watch threads I have visited in the last month you have told me that you have 4 Rolex and 3 Panerai watches in with your repairer, whats all this " Ive only got two watches ? "
Im disappointed...
Im also disappointed that you are in fact not the James Bond character I thought you were....I suggest you settle down and have a family so you too can endure the torture along with most of us.
As for the way this thread has gone, isnt that now the norm ?

That was then, this is now
I only have One Pam 127 now, sold the 111 and the old vintage Italian navy one a few weeks ago, 3 Rolex - new 08 Roulette wheel DJ, Daytonas 16520 and a 6263 that i'm building/having built...slowly
Also an Alaska Speedmaster, the two previously mentioned Speedys, a Jumbo Royal Oak (whch i now realise won't be kept long - not having a second hand = annoying), a vint Tag F1 first edition, a few Seiko's/Casios and some pocket watches. I'm the same with watches as everything else...boredom sets in. As soon as something is built/repaired it more than likely gets moved on...I have been selling a lot more than buying for the last few months though, not sure why, can't seem to want to keep anything new either for long.
