I'm not taking any side here, but maybe Martin should have given full details in the first place, if there is more to add, rather than just vaguely blame someone. He has had ample opportunity to come back and add to the thread and hasn't. Seeing he saw fit to post up something of this nature, why not give the full story?
Truthfully, only the OP and the company know the truth, and this thread has been left active too give chance for Area 52 to respond, and go from there.
If anyone is hoping to get some resolution to this, or any answers, I'd suggest laying off from jumping in, if you are not in full knowledge of the facts.
Again, this is not being posted with an opinion one way or another.

So its been a totally pointless thread then?
There has been no evidence to conclude anything else, no engineers report etc, the car ran for 6 months the mapped on a friday and went pop on sunday, it doesnt sound good as nothing else was said, now if you said the car ran like a bag of nails but didnt take it back, then people will ask why? If it ran well before the remap then people will say it was down to the map being too agressive, but no real evidence to prove otherwise.

I think that (almost) everyone would agree that this thread is best closed. At worst this has been a deliberate attempt to stir, so I don't think a resurection or a "we was robbed of free speech" type outcry is warranted and will be dealt with accordingly.
Anything else to say between the parties should be said off-line.
Thanks
