Do you believe MJ was a Paedophile?

Lol, yeah i'd have probably took one for $10m (as an adult) but I wouldn't let anything like that happen to my son and it was the parents that cashed in

The funny thing is MJ's behaviour was infact not what would be classed as Paedophile like actions. Yes to the ill-educated red top readers out there it is easily presented as paedo like behaviour but the psychological analysis of him has shown otherwise.
That said, folk always ask would you have been willing to leave your kids with him? the answer would have been no, but then there are only a half dozen people on this planet who i would trust with my daughter.

At the end of the day why would he openly act that way?
I don' think he ever did anything other than act a bit 'weird'.
He had that much money back in the day he could have just bought a child or something equally as weird and kept the child behind closed doors.
Why prance about like Peter Pan to be ridiculed by the world when he could have done as he pleased in private.
He might have been mad, but he wasn't stupid.

imo.... no he was NOT a pedo AT ALL.
the pay off was an idea dreamed up by his PR guys, and i think it was an instant 'fix' for all the harsh media attention the case was creating.
and as mentioned before... if the accusations were true as a parent no amount of money would detract you from getting justice.
it was all about the money. and MJ's child like decisions and outlook on life were due to his upbringing.
finally as said before.... yes, he was just a musician, however he has done more for charity and given more money to charity than any person on this earth.
at least now he can rest in peace.

Because taking the money's a much better outcome than exposing your little kid to the US media hype, being dragged through the press, having your lives ruined, and knowing that (OJ stylee) the weird kiddy fiddler would still get off. The parents weren' the brightest from memory, and I suspect wouldn't have taken much persuading from some smart aides.

Well i believe he was,but not because children were aloud to spend the night,or be around someone who could'nt or would'nt grow up..
But because what innocent person would pay Millions to shut someone up,certainly not me,i would have rather spent those millions clearing my name..
So did he abuse children ? to me that settlement said he did

While I feel sorry for the upbringing he had, if he was in fact guilty of being a paedophile, it just isn't a good enough excuse, but at the end of the day it is still just speculation, and I'm certainly not sure either way. He may well have done stuff he shouldn't have, but then again, he may have just been misguided, and trying to live out a childhood he didn't have, and didn't actually do any wrong.
What alarms me though, are the people (not necessarily on here), that think he may have committed some wrongful acts, yet have excused him due to his childhood and who he was. What I'd be interested to know, is if he wasn't MJ, so famous and talented (to many), would they be equally so understanding? Or would they call for all manner of horrible things to be done as punishment?

Fair point lisa, if her were Joe Bloggs down the road I do think it would have been a different story.
However, I don't think that the people who believe he is guilty are excusing him because of his upbringing, they are simply saying that may have been a catalyst in the events that followed, iyswim?

from memory Jackson paid off both parties sueing him so they would not testify against him. Not sure that anyone not guilty of child molesting or any crime really would have done so, with his money peraps it would have been better spent on a damn good laywer and defence team who could/would have cleared his name once/twice and for all.
His family seemed to have rallied around now he has gone, it seems a shame that they where not there, as a family to help and advise and put him straight when he was alive - like a family should be/do.
IMHO of course

People on here alone, have often jumped on this sort of subject, calling for horrific things to be done, to even just suspects (which MJ was, as we don't know for sure either way), and it just surprises me a bit at how understanding people can seem to be, presumably because he was misunderstood, had a bad childhood ect. when that would probably not be even factored in, if we were talking about an average person.
Even based on what we do sort of know, he would've been castrated by the masses, if he was an ordinary bloke. imo.

I don't know whether he was or wasn't, I guess now we will never know.

Well he did pay 20 million dollars to keep it out of court, would that seem to be the actions of an innocent person?
What time is bed time in the Jackson house hold?
When the little hands in the big hand.
He did think that "Boys to men" was a delivery service.
He did ask woody allen if he could change a ten for two fives.
