Hi fella, just read the full write up, wow sounds like its going to be a beast! I see you were driving the clinic ice car, I was at Oulton spectating and was watching you lapping, clean and tidy lapping.....probably down to the low bhp
Good luck with the next round, like others I will keep an eye out for your results.

ive not seen it, going to see the complete car tommorrow as its going to be mapped cant wait, and new sticker pack is here so ill get them on and get some pics up
ice driver is very easy to drive turns in very well also its just the catalytic converter, full weight and less than standard power dont = a good lap time. im looking to brands now as knockhill (if we go) will only act as a shake down, so we will have to sit down 2moz and work out whats what

Everyone grabbing wrong end of stick as usual.
What I meant was come on Matt this is a project thread. Show us some pictures of the car now it's nearly finished
That's all I meant. Hence the friendly smiley at the end

problem is daz i keep putting pics of car in pieces up, everyone knows what all the parts look like, its my car mate and ive not seen it as a whole car yet, it was running again yesterday so i assume its being mapped today. as soon as i go to the clinic this weekend i hope to see it all together, then i will post some more pics. i ts kind of bummering to always taking pics of the car when its in pieces hence the lack of recent pics

They say a picture speaks a thousands words, which in Daz's case is a good job!

I'd also assumed that the car was all but ready and that you were going to be at Knockhill in it hence me assuming it was in a take some nice pictures of it condition

unfortunately no is the answer to knockhill the car would be ready but it would be a rushed job as some things have had to be moved and bits fabricated plus ive had no seat time and with the costs of getting me, car, tech team and track support its just not viable this time,if i had good local knowledge i would concider it but i dont, i dont know the car and i dont know the circuit, i would prefer to get some seat time and get the car setup and ready for brands, it will have its first outing at snetterton next thursday,
in my eyes this is more beneficial as i know the track and can work on learning the car. i will sell my space for knochill at a reduced rate along with my space on the track day the day before if anyone is interested

dont be such a wuss! What was the point in the mad rush with the car for TA if you arent even going to do a round when the car is actually ready? We've had heaps of last minute things (new engines etc). E.g. new engine in days before Snet last year (and new engine in Impreza too)... We took both cars down to a circuit we'd never done before at the other end of the country. You have the trackday on sat to shake down the car, and get some time behind the wheel. Easy Peasy.
On a side note..... If you have to pay for tech support and track support do you really think thats in the spirit of club? :S

I agree with Nick oops I mean Adam. Car is ready so get up there and do it. You don't need tech support or track side support. The first time I we t up I drove the car up, did the track day the day before to learn the track and then TA then home.
Might see if I can pop up to snetterton on Thursday

ill be at brands where bar no running issues from now till then i would like some better points. ridiculous suspension setup with adjustable everything needs properly setting up the amount of adjustable parts means its not just a few clicks and your away, it took nearly a day to do geometry due to the amount of adjustable components. to be honest if the car was more powerful i would agree its not a club car due to all of the chassis work but, it just hanee got the power captain. bit like the touring cars in club?
just need a wrc subframe next
