Default time attack build

hey everyone
last year i bought my spec c v-limited Name: SDC11310.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 52.0 KB
I posted a some months back when disaster struck and the engine gave way (seems this does'nt happen often) whilst having a play with an R6, bad plan car went bang, it was put in the garage and that was that.

A few months past while i decided what to do with the car, fix it sell it, dont fix and sell, just leave broken in the garage or FIX IT AND KEEP IT and run in the 2010 time attack series

The latter was chosen so the next task was finding a tuner. After going to see sme of the companies and what they did i settled on scooby clinic (quality place, quality work, quality people and quality cars)

The spec of this will be big and i will be posting pics as soon as i recieve them spec will be around 550bhp 500flb totally stripped and caged, rays wheels, ap brakes, digital dash the list just goes on and on.

eventually i will post the build from start to finish but do check back in a week for some taster pics
cheers

Good stuff, keep it updated with lots of pics. Hopefully it won't turn out to be another 22B wide arch wagon thread

how do i post attachments guys otherwise im going to have to keep linking everything to photobucket. says i cat post attachments ??
big end failure was the diagnosis yesterday, why would you think it wasnt mapped for uk?. i was going with rcm but they are very very VERY busy couldnt start the car till end of the year, they have their own big commitments to fulfil and i respected that, plus i need testing time before april next year. build is underway and personally im finding the scoobyclinic guys great helpful friendly and knowledgeable and they are taking great care of my car. have 1 or 2 pics as engine only came out today

Paste the link of each picture. Infront of the link and without any spaces you put

for example the link for your cosworth manifold picture would look like this...

which would display ...

cheers, pretty well priced too tie put the baby seat in the spoiler its big enough, you might get some aero probs though
i will be selling the brakes but not until the project is complete i will then compile a list of parts and prices and post it on here. was going to sell as it came off the car but waiting is more sensible in case we need any of the old 2006 spec c parts(i say old, everything is as new)

yeah red and blue are a very popular choice. i just dont like the rainbow effect too many colours for me personally but scooby clinic can do any colour coding you want good prices good service. ill be sticking to blue and metal. no crazy colours for me
the pictured engine is'nt mine its a 650bhp power plant, mine will be up as soon as i get pics, that too is being turned into a POWER PLANT to be honest r6 was the best thing that could have happened it led me to meet the guys up at the clinic and with the generosity and help from the gaffer kev i am going racing in time attack next year. without the help and support from scoobyclinic this wild dream would still be a dream so if your reading big up kev n the guys, thank you

I hope the colour choice works out for you

Be interesting to see what else goes to make this go.

Are you coming out to play with us at Snetterton in October ?
