YouTube - Nuevo Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2008 Institucional Prensa

Its the promo video rushes for the 08 STI. Still pictures there also take while filming for the Euro brochure.

Wish I could find empty roads like that

Does anyone know how many 2008/09 STI's Subaru UK sold...

Only 25 on SN so it seems!

Have my resale values just gone up (when the credit crunch comes to an end)

If you speak to him again, do you want to mention the idea of him hosting a mini meet? I'm definiately up for a the suspension work and the front splitter as I;ve just booked the Scarab on its firts track day at Bedford!

It would be cool if we could get 5 cars looking for the same kit on the same day and maybe drive 5-10% discount or something?

Let me know if you want me to try my faded Jedi Mindtricks on the folks at Litchfiled

Cheers

Jim...I have a 330s that has been remapped by JGM, with a Litchfield CAI fitted at the same time which gave 384/395 and very pleased with the results and along with the full Type 20 suspension setup it is fantastic.

The only mod is a CAI and was remapped by JGM using Ecutek, strangely my Forester has been mapped with opensource ????? but that is being remapped with Ecutek tomorrow.

just to say anyone fitting a CAI to their STi would really need it mapping straight away as it leans the mixture out so much. I was told to drive off boost until mapped.

Cheers

Impressive results there

Speaking to Ian he reckons with a cold air induction kit and a remap it should make around 355bhp which I think is a healthy improvement.

I worried about turning the wick up too much as I have already had a new bottom end after piston number 3 got a little hot and melted the rings.

What turbo is on a 330 then?

That's some pretty impresive poke out of an otherwise std setup!

Apparently Iain found (by testing) that the cylinders do not like more than about 380BHP. Thats why he will only warranty his stage 2 to 355BHP.

Iain runs I believe on his stage 2 about 1.25bar peak boost, mine is 1.5 and I think others are running 1.6bar. The horror stories about rings going are to do with detination and a bad map from Subaru which a reflash sorts or even better a custom remap.
