Cool, cheers RB5. Went looking last night andd wasn;'t sure which ones you went for. Found Halfords do a 60w version for the same money. What wattage are these?
Also do the Recaro's in the STI have the heater function? Thyinking about changing the seats for full buckets, but the heated seats bit is sooooooo nice.

I got a nasty shock when I realised the cost for recaros on the revolution website was per seat not per pair. Who buys just one seat! So my budget of a grand for new seats is looking a little light. I still can't cope with paying £2,000 for the OEM scoobie ones through my dealer.
If only the 330s had been out when I bought my STI, then I would not have had to pay double to upgrade bit by bit.
Only 10 more days till me suspension upgrade at Slowboy Racing, I am getting very childishly excited about this.

I understand you can do it with bumper in place but as long as you have small'ish hands and do not mind losing the majority of your knuckle skin, mine was bumper off Job, so easy to do and only about 15 minutes to take off, easier with 2 sets of hands though, I only had one set but lots of blankets on the floor just in case!

Already got my red light films from Litchfield, clear rear fog from Revolution as well as Prodrive front (small) flaps, new STI mats with boot liner and bumper protector - then a serious detailing is needed followed by the serious stuff!

What has caught my eye though is the dealer offering original 330s seats to fit in an STI for £2000. I had been looking at the revolution ones, BUT OEM 330s ones would be ideal.
The standard seat causes me to look at buying an Audi RS4.
I have spoken to 2 dealers and they have both said no chance to selling 330s seats.
What dealer was it? I would get them delivered.
Also, I was trying to find the post that had the carbon fibre trim for the interior. I am a bit frustated with the painted trim. I have a couple little scratches on the drivers interior door handle. I know it is expensive but I would pay it. Getting them fitted would be the big problem.
A carbon fibre rear spoiler would be good too.
I really fancy 19" wheels. Has anyone tried some?
Thanks.

330s Seats
I use Cheam Motors, or used to before defectin away from the dealer network due to servicing costs.
The 330s seats were allways an option (they are the same as the optional recaros). These as far as I am aware are a retrofit item. They cost the same as a ordering with a new car as they were a dealer fit item. There is a subtle difference between asking for the optional recaros and asking for the seats from the 330s.
The reality on the ground is taht any dealer will need to be able to get hol of replacements and spares so these seats are available with appropriate arm twisting. The dealers are really suffering at the moment, certainly my local is. I have never seen so few scobies on theor forecourt.
A word of warning though before comitting to a major spend, the recaros are substantial tighter than the normal seats, a lot toghter than any STi seats, even going back to the 02 STi seats I had fitted in my 07 WRX. The RS4 seats on revolution are a lot more generous. I saw a fellow on here had got some of the RS4 seats for Xmas, have you any photos or comments?
Finaly, the trims are a mare. A year of getting a baby seat in and out of the car has mullered one of our passenger trims, and the drivers door trim has been chipped and scrathced by the seat belt clipping it as it pings back
Countdown to handling upgrade continues, anyone have nay photos of hatches with PPF7s, I'm thinking of the silver ones as they will contrast niceley with the dark grey.

I found the carbon trim just by an ebay search, made in China. My concern though was that it was not replacement parts IIRC, the door pull trims just stuck on top of the silver item so would probably not cover up all the marks.

Anybody know if its possible to use the std dvd unit in the 08STi to display oil pressure/temp/boost etc via suitable senders ? Pressing the Info button displays some gauges - but not really interested in fuel/acceln etc.

Springs picked up today along with rear bushes. Seat stays still haven't turned up but assured that they will be here next week.
Must say that the Silver hatch with the Pff7's looks great -nice one
(Think I have decided on my next wheels but just need Revolution to confirm they can get them in the size I want.......)

Got bored tonight. Top grille wasn't as bad to remove at all, 8 clips and 2 screws and it was out. None of this bumper removal lark

close up
Yup I disccovered I had some carbon film left over from the last bash
Yay that horrid chrome nose has gone. Although now I have taken it apart, I am not sure the Zunsport grille will fit. All the black plastic you see is the frame and the carbon bit screws on to that. So to get the Zunsport to fit, would require it to come with a replacement frame, or sourcing 1.
On car pic tomorrow.

From your pics, I'd say yes, the fixing holes are the same.
I popped out the 8 clips from the top, which then gave me enough room to be able to get my hand in between the grille and the cross member.
Then you can access the 4 screws on the bottom of the grille, 1 each corner and 1 either side of the central piller thing, buy gently pulling the top pf the grille out. The screw points stand out very clearly on the top pic.
The grille is now fitted back on the car and I haven't bothered putting the screws back in, 1 because is seems secure enough and 2, if the zunsport mesh will fit without the need for a new carrier, its coming off again. Going to ring Zunsport on monday and find out.

Can't see why, they were easy enough to remove. I'd start with the 2 central ones to hold the grille on, then put in the 2 outer ones. If the STI one is anything like mine, then I think the bottom 4 are superflious. Its in and secure just on the top 8 clips, the bottom of the grille frame has its own clips that lock into the bumper.
This is what it looks like now. Deffinatly needs meshing.

I know what your saying, and that thought had already occured to me. The bit thats worrying me now is the frame mounting for the grille. Mine includes the bit I want to get rid off (the other grilles don't), so unless the Zunsport grille comes with a new 1, its something I am just going to have to "live with".
