Anyone have the standard sti boot badge they don't want, assume it's the same for the hatch and saloon. Just mines been completely debadged and think it needs a little something.

Is whiteline the only company who produce rear uprated drop links in the UK for the sti hatch? There's loads in the states but what with shipping and import they're pricey.
Just wondered if there was any more choice really

I'm running on borrowed time - I took my rear bar off last night...
the story is I bought a rear whiteline roll bar a few months ago and the right hand stiffest setting hole wasn't drilled out properly. I put it on medium and called whiteline who sent me a front bar as a good will gesture. Last night I thought I'd have a go at drilling the hole out bigger so I could up it to the stiffest setting but in manipulating the drop link I somehow burst the ball joint boot and all the packing grease has oozed out. So I have to get some soon!
Can't believe how bendy the shafts are on the oe links too. Must be getting next to no performance out of the uprated bar

been busy today while the car's been on the drive!
adding more BHP

I'll do a 'How-To' guide when I get 5mins to do the write up lol
And also I've added the go fast red stripe to the front grille..

took ages to get the lining up done to tape it then use red nail varnish to paint it.

Red stripe fitted to my grille to & White SickSpeed Horns.

Ghost Shadows mounted in the doors.

As much as I liked the 08-10 front end I cant help but think the facelift looks mucho better..
Next job, Bottom line kit to fit

I finally got round to cleaning and polishing my car this weekend and thought I'd put up a few pics. I got a bit upset by the state of my paint work as I was polishing it, the front is peppered with stone chips and the paint on parts for the rear bumper looks like orange peel...is this common on the Hatch?
The car is mechanically standard apart from having the PPP fitted and a Pro-R filter. Cosmetically, it's got RallyArmor mud flaps, an STI front lip, Zunsport lower grill and a CS400 upper grill and some 18's (not sure what they are though). Its also fitted with a clear lens and the LED reflectors. Last cosmetic change will be the Bluebat overlays on the rear lights.
Next month I'm going to get the Prodrive lowering springs and a thicker RARB and if CDF start making stuff, I'll get some new droplinks and bushes as mine are starting to rattle.

Cheers,
Steve

Steve your wheels are forged BBS alloys off a euro spec hatch. Nice wheels worth keeping onto - stronger and lighter than most aftermarket items. AOriginally Posted by stressballsteve

Cheers A, that's cleared that one up. I bought them off a forum member last year and I've only just got round to fitting them. I'm not totally convinced on the colour though...Originally Posted by Apostle

Noticed I was losing oil this weekend from the Scoob, On my drive.. in my garage, oil under the car when I've parked up etc. (after driving/engine running)
Rang John Wood at Beechwood yesterday and he said bring it down (check oil level to see how much I had before I drove over to Derby - I had plenty on the dipstick)
He got me booked me in for this afternoon.
Popped over.. drove very steady... Their mechanic (same guy who fitted my Prodrive/Eibachs the other week) got it on the ramp.. whipped the under tray off (covered in all) oil all over the oil filter.. started car.. oil coming out a small hole in oil filter at the back of it!
20mins later, all sorted, New filter fitted.. all new oil added and Chris at Beechwood looked after me on price too
can't say thank you enough. Car runs lovely again
