Good work mate, shame about the gritter but hence the winter wheels. Take it the GT2's are safely tucked away for the winter.

Out of curiosity what psi do you put in your tyres on the GT2's I can't find a happy balance

Cheers for that mate. Got a feeling it's the tyre make though. I have Pirelli p nero or zero and any wet or damp conditions and on turn in the front end just understeer like anything. There's no grip at all. Not filling me with confidence for the winter months ahead. In the dry and heat they are great but that's not going to help me this timeof year lol

Think it's time to buy a used set of 17's and take it from there, time to check the piggy bank lol

Will try that psi out first as I think I run a little higher than that, see if it makes a difference

I must say on 17" the car now drives lovely

on the 19" you feel the larger size wheel being on the car.

You'll pick a set of 17" STi 114 pcd alloys up well under £500 with tyres.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Su...item3a7c37f7a4

If you can get no tyres.. then you can buy winter tyres.. Continentals got a very good write up for winter use,

that or get a set of these.. look well nice
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17-SUBARU-...item1e72664edb

and put your own winter rubbers on

Got to say having just put winter tyres on my hatch the difference between the standard Dunlops summers and the Michelin winters is huge. Cold, damp greasy roundabouts are not the issue the were with the Dunlops. Winter tyres make a difference when temps are low not just in snowy & icy conditions.

I drove the last two winters on the standard Dunlop summer tyres, but as you describe summer tyres don't inspire confidence.

It's listed in your service book.

I've just had the 4th year service done by Europa Subaru in Sheffield, it's all the fluids etc (I paid £350)

Try 34 f 32 r

Powerstation did ALL the development work on the early Litchfield Type 20 hatches. This is their recommendation / what they found to be best.

At 30 it all feels a little wallowy still... The higher pressures effect the steering feel as well.

Is anyone having issues with their metasat system. My subaru dealer sorted it all out for me and I got emailed login details. I've texted the car twice for a status. The credits have been deducted from my account but I've have no response back. Metasat are saying everything seems to be ok their end so is it a faulty unit in the car maybe?

Which number did you use? +39 33 999 43201 or 07917 093294

The +39 number has been hit and miss but the 07 number seems to work fine.

I've tried both. Metasat can track my car. They've just emailed me a location and road name for where my car is but the actual texting part of the service has never replied. I've used the +39 number and also the 07 one now. Credits have been deducted from my account but I've still not had any reply back

I take it they've checked they have your correct mobile number ???

Check to make sure it's correct on the web site http://www.octotelematics.co.uk/octo...ru.jsp?lang=en

In one word YES, with any engine mods you just need to be careful with hatch.
