Looks much better rob, I did the my gear surround in the plastidip and although it looks good I'm dubious to how well it will hold up. Was going to ask someone if the heater surrounds looks like you've saved the question.

What actual paint are you using rob and how close a match is it to the OEM colour on the my11's?

[QUOTE=rob84;8683522]Sorry About the Number Of images, But I like the hatchback especially lol

Hi mate!
Just wondering where you purchased the bc coilovers from? How much of a difference did it make to the handling? Also what rode height did you set them at?

I first did the door pulls in plasti-dip & to be honest, looked epic to start with then Absolutely no good it's not durable enough and leaves dusty handprints all over them..
I used Simoniz By Holts Acrylic primer & acrylic satin black. looks awesome. I'd dare say a bloody close match to the my11's.

HVAC comes apart very easily then the red sections pull out so re-painting is an option. these are a spare set as I wasn't sure if they wouldn't match so will see how it goes tomorrow

Is it possible to buy the silver hvac dials separately? I gouged one of mine when doing my stereo by accidentally leaning the stereo on one of the dials.

thanks Rob, i have that feeling too. looks great but i am scared to go near it and watch it every time i put something in the hole under the heater controls as i think it will catch and peel off.

will look in to getting the paint if its a good match, let us know how you get on with the heater controls. Never understood why subaru removed most of the silver trim yet left the last couple of bits.

Much better on the white BULLITT!

I'm changing my exterior STi badges this week to lose the chrome on them too. Think it's the R206/206 badges again. Look like these ones:

I quite like OE grille badges but I will be looking to sort the rear lights and cover the chrome up, thinking about the light masks from Litchfield then an STI front splitter.

I still need to sort some wheels out as well.

I have the light masks, but they are a bugger to fit and peel slightly around the edges. If you check page 333 there is info on red tint spray and laquer which makes it look much better still and lasts easier.

Any ides on what wheel, I have just decided I think, It's taken me ages to decide

Yeah that's another thing I'll look at, you'd think with model building I'd be more comfortable with the painting lol I've narrowed down my choices to a few Rota options, I wanted to have something close to the Speedline ST2s I had on my classic but I'm struggling. Really I'd like to keep it STI / Prodrive but some of the wheels aren't that nice or don't really look wide enough.

They're quite nice! A lot better looking than the ones on my car! You just added another option to my wheel choice thanks for that lol

Tried to reply last night after my reply to Stevie, but the forum crashed.
lucky I copied and pasted what I'd wrote.

I purchased My BC's from Bren @ Apex Performance when they first became available for the hatch.

Made a massive difference to the handling, No boat like effects and sticks to the road like a gokart. could do with a touch of body roll as you never know how hard your pushing until it spins out lol.

I dropped mine about 60mm around so the tyres were flush with the arches. dampers set to 15 clicks from soft. and 5mm preload on the springs, I run 2deg negative rear 1.1 deg negative front zero toe front to rear.

As I posted last night I'd stripped out My HVAC controls, I wanted them to look less silver if that makes sence & what with changing most of the bulky parts I thought I'd have a bash at these.

Cheers, it's already lowered with coilovers but don't know the height it's set at.
Tints are something I'm looking into.

Where about is the odb port is?

OBD port is under the steering wheel / column, just behind / under the plastic trim.

Slide hand down in a line with centre of wheel and voila! found.
It's a bit like a Scart socket.

Due to the rigidity of the coil-overs I've opted to keep the standard factory roll bars and drop links, I think There is a such a thing as being too stiff. I find I've found a good compromise between the two.

Ive had the BC's for 5 years now and had no fault other than the paint has flaked on the springs, But i have new springs to rebuild them with and they ar not badly priced for spares either

Yer, did it make it a lot stiffer than standard? Can you adjust ride height with them?
