Disappointing that out of all the Hatch/saloon owners who are "enthusiasts" to the point that they contribute to the many Scooby forums, only 5 have put their names down to go to NBO - probably the biggest Scooby meet in the UK !

Good point !!
OK - Disappointed that only 5 have put their names down to form a "Hatch" Stand

Good opportunity to make a Hatch statement - we are not the unclean abomination of the Subaru stable!!

You have Alcon 6 pot on FQ400, also on Litchfield T20 and many other STI's so saying that the Alcon is not good brakes as any other good manufacturer is silly

The Alcons are greats and just as good as the others, but I think the 6 pot brembo is lighter caliper then both AP and the alcon.

just popped to the dealer and had both keys done.. £60 +vat each but they did a deal at £100+vat saved me doing it.

joke,
Maplings in nottm city didn't have any, so popped top the little guy selling ALL batteries.... so got two Engergizer 1632 batteries £3 each... got him to do two for £5 winner.

now don't have to be right next to the car to press the little back button on th door to get in
TBH.. should have changed them when I first picked the car...but back then thy seemed fine.

How do you turn the alarm off anyway if the batter in the fb goes... i had a right job last night at the golf club trying to turn it off... kept getting a Text message telling me the alarm was going off too!! Yep i know... I'm next to it

Excellent, brave man with too much time on his hands springs to mind, keeping my black ones clean annoys me enough!

Must admit Rob you certainly push the boundaries with ideas, personally i like the painting. Now you need to paint the manufacturers name on the rubber for that extra bling.

Funnily enough I do actually have a tyre pen in the car

Prep & Painting for the callipers took me about 15hrs removed and stripped down 320 grit first off to rough them up followed by a 1200 grit to smooth the finish followed by high temp Primer & 8 coats of vht gloss Enamel.

Having owned classics for the past 15 years, I have bit the bullet and bought a sti hatch. However I am a little dissapointed in the floaty back end through the corners.
What advice to stiffen up the back end a little. I do not want to make too many modifications. How much difference does the whiteline heavy duty arb for the rear make. I know it did make a good difference on the old classic.

Thanks

To cure the floaty back end you want the Whitline subframe bushes, a very worthwile starter mod.
