Man was I not a happy bunny. I think thr effects I was going for could look good, but I'm saying sod it and having the wheels shot blasted and powder coated instead.

Looks nice and glossy, where as the prvious stuff was matt. Pity I can't use them.

I might have to have some off you later in the year and replace the external stuff thats been contaminated with wax I think.

i've just stuck some to the dash, the stereo surround

gonna do some more later
the cabin is boiling hot at about 28 deg C at the moment so the vinyl is sweet to work with.

That's what I thought, was thinking as to how many parts it would need though

I looked at the lower door handles and came to the same conclusion as Mark. Its teh reason I was going down the hydrographic route. Problem is I just couldn't get it to work properly.

you will be able to push in about 20-30mm all round from the top

i would then fit a piece to the bottom so a flap all round comes up the verticals

then a strip going horizantally around all 4 inner faceswide enuff to cover the top and bottom flapson teh verticals

Ok, well finally got round to changing my splitter, been undecided as to what to get for months and finally decided on the below, was about to order from the states but one finally appeared in the UK and looked the same so went ahead and ordered it, arrived yesterday so fitted it last night. Not a bad fit but decided to bin the fixings it came with and use 8mm stainless nut and bolts instead which have secured it really well.

Was getting a little dark towards the end so may whip off when I have some time and centre up a little more, did have to drill a few more holes but worth it for peace of mind.

Really happy with the look, just that little bit more aggresive than my old STI lip and more resembles the lip I had on my Hawk, think I needed it with the low offset wheels, thats what I told my wife anyway!

Same concept as the hawkeye version so should be OK I would have thought. And made from nice soft deformable PU as well isn't it?

Cheers guys

Rheid, yes its PU so nice and flexible.

Mark, quite liking that, may have some in matt black when I'm back from my hols, are they pre cut, a good fit and easy to fit?

Carlos, I've been very impressed with my Sessanta's (sp) and a bargain to boot, about £130 a corner IIRC, good in wet and dry and not too noisy, but not as quite as some!

Hi guys,

Anyone know what cc the injectors are on a Type UK MY08 STI? I've been told they're slightly higher than the normal 550cc 'pinks'?

IIRC, they're rumoured to be 650cc but in reality are somewhere around 590 - 600cc.

That's very smart, one of the best looking hatches I have seen IMHO.
The red strip/surround on the rear lights would finish it off nicely.
The car has a nice stance too, what springs are you using?

Thanks for the comments, TBH I quite like the clear (must be one of the few) I'll do them once I want a different look.

Car is on Prodrive springs, the Pro Race 1.3's are ET45 so fill the arches a fraction more than std.
