Hi All,
I just fitted a Forge Dump valve and given the car a run up the road, I'm well pleased with it......... £115 well spent :-) are there any ill effects from fitting a venting valve???
Cheers Ian

So, if I use one of these, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Jensen-iPo...item45f7affd7f
can I run Mp3/4 video through it so it goes to the head uni screen?
If this can be done.. how cool is that.
or should the question be, what does everyone else do with their RCA connection?
six days and counting

lol, who knows, putting a magicTree airfreshner in your car also voids warranty too. So a DV has to be a big no no

It wont make the engine go pop at all, By simply venting off air from the intake system all you are doing is momentarily making the engine run a rich state for a few seconds which is no bad thing, this is due to the air you are dumping to atmosphere all ready being measured by the maff sensor on the intake tract.

Well guys, the Subaru has gone
I miss it but do love the GTR.
I will still check this thread on a daily basis to keep up with what you are all doing with and to your cars.
BTW, I got £17k trade in
Here are some photos of the GTR.
Let me know what you think.

Very nice looking GTR Middlehurst too... found them to be superb when my friend put his deposit down for a GTR, really helpful and the servicing costs etc seemed reasonable to me . He put his order back tho to get the new version (MY11 with 530PS etc) which i think is available from March.

Middlehursts' were great. I did consider a new one but at £20k more and no concierge service I decided, no. I also prefer the current wheels.
I have very little on finance so, if the car doesn't work out I can get out of it easily.
However, I think I will keep it for a while. It feels like new.
I have budgeted for new tyres and probably brake pads at the next service, but it doesn't look like I will need to do that.

That's more the reply I was after thank Rob!! I can't see any problems from running with a DV......I have to say the Turbo feels like it is spawling up quicker as well.....but that may just be in my mind LOL can I ask....do you work for Subaru?? Cheers Ian

Hi mate, the price I paid was as it was a group buy from the detailingworld forum, give them a call and say you'd like to get the group buy price, think the majority of the saving was as postage was free.
As for payment I paid through paypal as a gift payment.
Very good service but think they are quite busy and had/have limited Internet at the moment.
Cheers

Keep the standard dump vale... you will eventually get bored with it and swap back ..at least then you can sell it, for probably the money you paid for it
I had one on my 2003 STI and 6 months of mickey taking (from my mates) was all I could manage
