I still want std letter size and spacing but want the plate shorter so i don't have big end gaps. FIL 973 doesn't take up much space and leave front and rear gaps.

Too far north for me, but whats the figures per spec? The one I know about is 183 bhp with torque going up to 350 ft/lbs.

Not as far as I know, have looked into this myself and believe it's a little more complicated than just plugging it in as it's also wired into the keyless entry that comes with the 330.

As this is my first Scooby I not sure what I'm going to get out of any Tyres! A mate has had Subaru's for over 10 years including a T25 litchfield and said Subaru's are light on Tyres, so I hope he is right Rob did you get 24000 out of one set of Rossa?? Lastly has anyone used Toyo R888 if so what they like?? Even the Toyo website said they are bad in the wet cheers Ian ps Salsa King:- the time is getting nearer I know how I felt waiting for mine to be ready, picked it up at lunchtime in may last year and went back to work no one knew I had got it LOL most of the firm came out to look made me feel great!!! Post some photos asap of the White beast! Cheers Ian

Dunlop SP Sport 600's
£180 per tyre
Superb Tyre but prone to aqua-planing when very wet
16,000 miles
Goodyear F1a GSD3's
£140 per tyre
Aweful grip numb steering "feel" unless very warm, does not suit the car at all
avoid imho
wear was at 10k and still 5mm of tread left when car was sold

Hi Harvey, Swindon is a touch closer I read the link as he was in Darlington. I've had a long chat with Iain L about the remaps, the bit that put me off then was a very prononced flat spot on the graphs ecutek showed.
If they have corrected that then, it could be a go'er again.

I had vredestein ultrac sessanta's on my last 05 STI PPP which was fettled by the great Andy F.
I really liked those, not sure what they would be like on the hatch.
But they are (or certainly were) hard to source.
I also liked the RE070's from Bridgestone - fantastic in the dry, pretty good in the wet.
But how shall we say - challenging when damp or greasy

I believe original offset is 53mm, but seems 35 is good to fill arch a bit better.
Could anyone with 35 offset rims tell me if they miss the rear arches if they rise into the arch.
Also what rim width that was with.
Cheers

I was thinking of putting 255 tyres on next but think that will be too close for comfort on the front.

Thanks RB5 and ArronB. Thinking how to fill my arches (esp rear) a bit better. IIRC mine are 8.5's 53 o/s but because its quite low, I may have to roll the rears if I go to 35 o/s.
Alternatively, do nothing and stop spending money !

You may be able to find something inbetween, I think the Speedlines Revolution had on the white STI was +48, something like that and your 5mm spacers could do the trick.
Oh, and gotta keep spending!

My BBS's rubbed on the rear at motorway speeds if you hit a large dip.
They were a 35 offset (with the spacers)
The inner arch tab just needed rolling up
