Hopefully it will help you get sorted Ian.
Ok, first of all open a photobucket account here Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket, I won't go through that stage as its self explanatory!
Once done, you'll have a blank default album and the option to create albums and move images at a later date. Its important at this stage the images you want to upload and on the computer/network drive/usb key and also your phone but we'll leave that one for now.
Once created click "Upload Now" at the top:
Next screen after selecting the location and album click "Select photos and videos":
You're now presented with a standard dialogue box to find images on your media, to select multiple images from the same folder use ctrl or shift for large quantities of consecutive images:
Once completed it will upload the images to your album:
You have the choice of uploading more photos, saving and returning to the album or adding a title/description at the bottom to each image (this can be done at any stage:
Back in your album view, click on the image and a host of tag options come up, you want the bottom \[IMG\] \[/IMG\] ones, so just click on the link and "Copied" will appear (into your clipboard, so ctrl-v later to paste):
Then all you have to do is go to your website of choice (clearly here) and paste it in just like when I created this thread all above.
Thats it, job done. There's tonnes of editing options on photobucket if you don't want to do it on your laptop, simple things like blurring number plates etc.

Hi All
Hi All,
First off, thanks for the help in posting photos; I got there in the end!!
Around April last year I started to look for a car to replace my 03 Curpa R
At the time the R was re-mapped to 280 bhp and was fitted with a Miltek system, Jabba sport induction kit etc. It was a quick car but the 2 wheel drive really let it down.
In my hunt for a new car I drove all sorts, RS Focus, VRX, Honda Mugen 200 and even a couple of fast Renaults
My Cupra R was in fact quicker than most of them so I was feeling a little low!
I had a test drive booked at Honda to drive a Type R….. when I got there they told me they couldn’t get a car to drive. As I drove away I started to think about a Subaru dealer just around the corner.
Went in and asked about the STI. The salesman was very helpful and said I could take out a 09 STI for a run. It this point I had never driven a Subaru. Well the test drive went very well and when I got home my wife said how did it go at Honda……I replied I put a £2000 non refundable deposit on a Subaru. She said is it blue, I said yes, she said has it got a big spoiler on the boot….. I said no, she said has it got gold wheels, I said no. she said…………..that’s OK then!!
OK to the car……….Its a WR Blue 09 STI hatch with the full PPP set up and also included pro dive oil filler cap, Battery bar (in gold but don’t tell the wife)
It had 3500 miles on the clock and was mint.
I had to part with £22500 for it but feel that I got a very good deal.
After a couple of weeks I started to feel a little unhappy with the handling I just couldn’t get into it fully.
I went on a Pistonhead run and really struggled with the pace.
After talking with my wife it was decided I would have to get some handling work done.
I rang around a few places including Litchfield’s etc and got an idea as to what to do.
Then I contacted Abby Motorsport, better known for tuning Skylines etc they are about 10 min’s from my work.
The end results was the car was fitted with the following:-
Eibach Pro spring kit
White line anti roll bar front and rear
White line anti lift kit
White line bump steer kit
White line bush kit for the whole chassis underside
And a Litchfield power steering pump spring
This was all finished off with a fast road / race set up
It was like” night and day” the car came alive!! much quicker in the corners etc with almost no body roll
I also had the windows tinted just to “pimp” it up a little
A Plan covers the car for £560 with all mod ( I'm 42)
So that’s the story so far, but there’s lots I would still like to do including more rumble from the back some wheel spacers and may be Rally armor flaps etc
All that said here are some photos………… hopefully LOL
I hope you all like my first Scooby??

Nice to see new hatchback owners joining the fold.
I am sad to be departing but also excited about the next car.
I will miss the practicality of the Hatchback and the fact I could take it anywhere and not worry.
When I get it, can I post a photo of it on here?
I will miss being part of this thread.
I will let you know if it as expensive to keep as I have heard.
Cheers,
Chris

You beat me to it, was just about to say what a nice looking hatch and also ask about the tyres.
They are directional and I have only heard negative things about them so wondered how you were finding them, interested as am in need of some new rubber soon and was consideriing Toyo T1's, what brand are yours?
Thanks

Hi, the Tyres are eagle F1 245 40 18, I don't think they are made anymore so I to will have to pick new Tyres at some point, I was thinking of using Toyo 888 next time but have read they are not so good in the wet??? My current F1's are great in wet or dry and also really good in the snow. The F1 also look nice ;-) Eagle make an F1 tyre with a different tread now, doesn't look as good as my current ones!! Cheers Ian

Hill start
Basically if you're on a hill with foot on brake on and clutch down - when you release the clutch the car will resist rolling back.
Is it a good DVD player - its alright
Won't work when you on the move though.
Yeah - its only got one CD, however fill up a CD with a shed load of MP3's and your laughing.

Scooby Senior
so use a MP3 player with a load of down loads on it and run it throughthe unit?

Yep - stick a load of mp3's on a CD, then you can control it from the head unit
I have a cd with about a dozen different albums on it, you pick the folder and it plays them, you can also choose tracks using the head unit.
Connecting via the AUX jacks is also possible, but you cannot control it form the head unit.

Hi Rob,
K&N oil filter arrived today, as recommended I've avoided the new OE blue one.
Quick question though, OE ones IIRC are hand tight and then 1 turn to fully tighten, is it the same with the K&N in your experience?
Thanks
Arron

Over the years I have also built full sized custom / drag cars and fast road/ track cars. Really love going on Pistonhead runs and would love to meet up with some owners from here at some point... So that's me.....The Hobbymaster :-) cheers Ian

Also indicators, I have two types, one are Silvertec and the others are IIRC Philips, eitherway Scoobyparts or Revolution will be able to sort you out.

Yep, mine were done within about 20 minutes of the car being on the drive, got mine from ebay but these from Revolution will be fine, LED sidelight bulbs go much better with the Xenons.

Are the side light bulbs difficult to change?

They are quite tricky to be honest but not impossible, you fit from inside the wheel arch and do not have much room to move.
Done mine a few times as my first set came out my hawk and blew quite soon and replaced both at the same time, there is a knack to it and once you've done one you'll be fine.
I think the manual sais take to dealer if they or the indicators blow!
