And as Mark said... the spoiler is no longer a purchasable item (unless you already own an R205)... not sure how long that will last though.... maybe till the new car is released.

LOL!

Well, after only 4 months of ownership I'm chopping the 330S in against a 10 plate Focus RS!

It was done for a number of reasons but in short the Focus made me fall in love with cars again - something which has been sadly lacking recently.

I'll still be around as most of you are a good bunch and this thread is gonna run for some time yet!!

As for the winter - yes I agree the FWD will be a challenge, particularly with any snow, the Subaru was excellent in the snow (Hawkeye seemed better for some reason?)

I'm sure I'll manage - I'm not keeping a car I'm not happy with just for a few months when I just have to drive a bit sensible.

As for the colour

Thinking of selling my mint 330s if anyone is interested white March 09 Bluetooth PD springs apart from that totally standard.
12500 miles.
Had full short engine at 8600 miles runs fine.
Needs nothing but a good home.
Make me a sensible offer been offered strong money from a dealer so will probably go down that route but see what ya think.
Cheers.

Cheers Mick - I'll pop in from time to time and I'll certainly let you know what I think.

I will miss the 4WD but it's not everything.

The money I spent on the 330S as well

Yeah the FRS isn't for the shy retiring type!

Drives well though and sounds surprisingly good when the motion pedal is pressed.

I've had my Hatch STi since I bought it new in Sep 08. Tomorrow I'm trading it in against a new Legacy Diesel. I'm not getting old, but the kids are getting bigger and we need more room. Simple as that. Its done 15k of faultless fun miles. Took it out for a blast this evening - I'm really going to miss it . Took a mate with me and gave him a drive. Grinned from ear to ear. Maybe when the kids don't want to go with us on holiday I'll get an STi again. Still a scooby owner though!!
Will still look on here. Don't suppose anyone will want to see pics of the new car though

i ran a Legacy diesel for 12mths, loved it. Trouble free motoring. Fast for diesel and quite suprising how capable it is for a big car.

That would have been me

It's held on with those retaining clips only - 6 or 8 if memory serves me. You then just need to work your way round the car clicking it out from the locators.

I'd suggest you contact RB5 286 on here and after a small donation to the Richard Burns foundation, he'll send you a link to the workshop manual.

It comes in very handy!

Hi Guys.
I have a Haywood and Scott 2.5" straight pipe into 3" back box for sale if interested.
PM me.
Its still twin exit both sides 100mm so looks the same as PP one but its twin box so each exit has its own silencer....sounds awsome.
Better flow but no need for a re-map as its still 2.5" middle as PP kit.
its the best sounding pipe I could find.
It is pretty loud.
2 months old only.
Best offer secures.
cost me about£750 for all the bits to make it all work.
