Very nice, seeing your pics forced me to look on the Renault website and have a play, must admit was plesantly surprised at how nice the interior looked, pretty well spec'd as standard too, is yours the 250 with cup chasis and recaro pack?

Can anyone tell me if these parts of the door handle assembly on the passenger side have the same part number, front and rear?

Drivers side should be be different as rear is a blank and front has the hole for the key.

Hi Aaron, mine is the 250 Cup. Didnt go for Recaro in the end, bit snug for me,not practical for the Mrs and are a bugger to get out of.
Loving it at the minute. Pics defo dont do it justice, specially in white.

Saw a nice 1 the other week but it sold within a few hours of me seeing it, was only £17k too
My dark grey 08 STI with satnav (FSH & oils/filters every 5K miles) and factory 18" wheels is going up for sale at around £17K very soon, got around 30K miles on the clock though...
Going in for a full detail/valet so will be immaculate when I sell it

Has a Milltek exhaust system on it at the moment, but thinking about taking that off before I sell it...

Buying a 4x4, a trailer and a classic scooby rally car to do my MSA Rally license next year

That really does look good Arron.... looks at tad lower than some of your other pics, are the Prodrive springs settling now .

Don't suppose you have the arch to wheel centre dimms do you?

Hi Tone, cheers, think it's just the camera angle as springs have been on a good 6 months so should have settled by now, as for height, can only get to the drivers side at the moment but wheel centre to arch for front and back are about 35.8cm give or take a couple of mm either way.

Cheers
Arron

Here's a few of mine taken at the weekend -

Given the number of people who gave me compliments on the car at the show I reckon that the Hatch is slowing growing in appeal to a lot more people (especially when a few, tasteful mods are done).

Oh yeah, fully-forged engine now in and being run-in as we speak...

LOL @Arron- what makes you say that?!

You need to do the tail-light mod to finish yours off I reckon.

Mark -bring on Rally Day- really looking forward to putting the Hatches together

Cheers Arron. My standard suspension sits like this:

Front - 370mm (approx 50mm tyre/arch gap)
Rear - 360mm (approx 40mm tyre/arch gap)

So if yours is sat at 358ish all round then the springs would lower it just over10mm front and just a touch at the rear.... seems about right front what i've read/heard.

Phil, i'm sure you've told everybody before but just one more time... what suspenson are you running, doesn't look standard.

Cheers,

Tony.

Funny you should say that as I actually have some samples from lamix at home in Red and gunsmoke, just not got round to deciding what to go for, all red or red with the middle cut out or all smoke or again with the middle cut out, need to see how the colours effect the reversing light etc and then will order!

The Eibachs do give the car a very nice stance then....

And i was all set for some Apex coilovers from Bren, £500ish. Nervous about noises/harshness etc with coilovers tho. Arrrrgh... i will make up my mind. I will

Personally I would not go any lower than the prodrive springs if you have/or intend to fit a front lip, I've been caught out on more than one occasion with the front catching whilst reversing onto drives etc and had to park elsewhere.

However saying that Phils stance looks ace, for me just not practicle!

i have the STI lip with the lower lip with the Prodrive springs, I have no worries about catchin it like i did with me hawkeye, still plenty of clearance!!!

I'm considering the coilovers for the reason that when i load up with the club gear I could stiffen up the rear suspension, is this a good idea or not????

I used to catch my hawkeye lip everywhere when running Prodrive springs too. Multi storey car parks were the worst, horrible noises going down the ramps

Not got one on the hatch.... yet.

Correct, I have the Eibachs springs fitted. Has the prefect stance for UK roads imo - low but not stupidly so, and the ride is cracking.

Wouldn't be interested in coilovers fitted, can't see the gains for normal use that you'd get over these and at what cost.

Mark - i've loaded the hatch up before and it doesn't really change its ride height so I reckon you'd be fine with these.

Cheers Phil, don't suppose you have the arch heights to compare to my standard values and Arrons Prodrive values above do you?

Also any perfectly side on shots of the car....

Cheers,

Tony.

Just a quick measure at the rear (front is at an odd angle) is approx 33.5cm centre to arch.

Haven't got a side on profile but i'll get one tomorrow.

Just to add, I've had no issues with getting over speedbumps even with the STi lip fitted. Can scrape the exhaust on occasions but it's not very often that happens (and needs a big speedbump to cause a scrape)

Cheers Phil... mine is 360mm rear standard so its more or less bang on the quoted 25mm drop.

I'll look forward to the pic

Just one word of warning, remember Prodrive springs are warranty friendly, I know of atleast one claim for suspension that was denied due to non standard springs being fitted, and the dealer even sold the car with the non standard springs fitted!

Phil, do you have a rear pic of your car, trying to decide what rear lights to go for, Red or gunsmoke!

Thanks

Prodrive for warranty yes but the warranty will go out of the window I suppose when I get a new exhaust fitted

Exhaust will only affect and engine related warranty claim.
