its a company that really know what they are doing and its a gr8 way to see the new saloon version so I get my plans sorted when they are available here in the UK

I am thinking the the rear bumper sides need some kind of vent to balance it with the front end.
love those advan wheels.
are they available in the uk, or do any other manufactures do anything similar?

Rotor forces or dare drifts are a cheaper substitute... but the Advan's are the daddy when it comes to aggressive alloys.

No not yet Arron, swmbo has had the car for the last few days and I've not had a chance to get them on...

I'm hoping this weekend will offer up a spare hour to do it...but with 2 kids time is never my own anymore!

looking forward to seeing how these alter the stance of the car, would work out alot cheaper than a new set of wheels....

Default Brake ducting

Guys,
Has anyone found a brake ducting kit for their MY08+ hatch?

I had a nasty moment at Castle Combe that called for some serious pedal pumping to get pressure back.

Off to Donnington in a few weeks so am keen to get a cooling solution for the front discs sorted as I don't want to lose my brakes round the GP circuit.

Any ideas?

Cheers

There are some carbon jobbies on ebay if you search 08 impreza carbon that replace the front fogs, sure you could connect up some ducting to these.

You will get a lot of brake fade with the standard brembos i suggest you either do a few laps at a time and let the brakes cool dow or go for some AP's or some of these babys.

Default Brake fade

I'm running the standard Brembos with Friction Performance pads, Hel braided hoses and AP 5.1 fluid.

Am trying to aoid doing what I said I wouldn't this time, which is spending thousands on mods. Not having much luck so far (wheels, track wheels and R888s, PPP 330 upgrade, Litchfield Handling kit, PLX, STi splitter....) so am hoping not to have to shell out for a bbk.

i think that you are on a non winner there then!!!

using the STI on the track a lot surely benefits a BBK upgrade.

when we did a track day at coombe when the hatch first came out, we had the brakes smoking after just a couple of laps!!!

Where is the best/cheapest place to get a pair of R205 wing/fender badges, can't seem to find them on Japanparts and I'm not paying £70 or so for the ones on ebay?

Cheers
Arron

Funnily enough I was pricing one of the copies up but cannot really afford it, if HT or someone make a replica up I may reconsider, was also looking at one of the kits that run along under the side skirts as they look quite good too.
