No sweat Mark.. It was a bit of a busy day on Saturday, but next time I'm in the area I'll pop in. Really need that bit of vinyl too as the silver one on my WRXD is driving me mad!

Put a new mod on yesterday - pics up later

I didn't mate - but can if needed!

Anyone know if the WRX-S is 100 PCD or 114 like the STi?

I have a mate with a WRX who is interested in my stock front brakes.

Cheers

Not got one yet, but seems my under car STi braces & jointed strut brace from Japan are R205 parts thought might add the rear diffuser too... seem to recall some one else fitting one - may have been RB5 286 ? - with few problems but a few tips to ease the process!

Ballsie bought RB5's R205 spoiler from him

And as Mark said... the spoiler is no longer a purchasable item (unless you already own an R205)... not sure how long that will last though.... maybe till the new car is released.

Hi Hatch guys quick question for you when your warranties are up are you going to take subaru extended one? and if so anyone know how much it is to extend it.

looking at the dark blue sti for sale at Car solutions 57 plate 16k miles up for £16,490

what you guys think?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1652172.htm

i seriously doubt Subaru will be offering extended warranties on the hatch!!

If they do I would read th small print as a term in there would probably say that the engine wouldnt be covered!!

The fact it's got Full Subaru Service History... has had it's 20k service...only one owner from new... looks a clean car.

take it for a test drive, check for smoke on start up... ask to see it's history and when it had it's ecu flash done.

Look at the V5 and ring the previous owner?

By not offering an extended warranty, subaru would be admitting there was was problem... and so I cannot see them declining.

Some yanks have weighed a random Hatch STI

3289.3 lbs 1490kgs
59% Front : 41% Rear
50.5% cross.

They also weighed their evo X (with the heavier TC-SST)

3518 lbs 1600kgs
57% Front : 43% Rear
49.4 Cross

The STI is a tad nose heavy... might explain the increased dipping/bodyroll feel over the Evo.. but 15kgs under the manufacturers listed kerb weight aint bad..and 110kgs lighter than the evo X

Anyone got any idea how much my front STi brake callipers would be worth? Not including the disks.

They are in excellent condition and covered about 20K.

Cheers.
