Actually - the scumbags who did the shooting have probably done more damage than the rape did in the first place - there were children present when they shot the guy - that is abuse right there (two wrongs etc)

Now he's just been let away lightly with this, and the 'sentence' he has been given barely affects him. Your daughter on the other hand has lost all her confidence, her friends after shutting them out...she's a totally different person who spends every day miserable, becoming more and more reclusive. She'll never be the same again.

You know where this creep lives, and there's not a shadow of a doubt that it was him. Are you telling me you wouldn't do anything? He's ruined an innocent young girl's life for nothing, and it has not even affected him in the slightest.

People like that deserve to be on the wrong end of a baseball bat.
There is one problem with your whole argument here, we aren't talking about a father who decided to get revenge for his daughter. We are talking about 2 chavy 17/18 year olds on a power trip who think they are above the law.

Its thinkin like this that lead to the Hilters, Bin Ladens, Adams & Saddams to come to power in this World.

We can all come up with terrible scenarios to make a point, but it doesn't change the point, IT WASN'T THE CHILDS PARENTS TAKING REVENGE so I'm sorry but your example just isn't valid.
Maybe some rose tints on by me, but doesn't that make it BETTER? Society giving a sh, rather than just walking away. Is it a form of altruism as opposed to selfish apathy?

Would you tolerate, but dislike the scenario if it WAS the parents?

I appreciate this is a bit unsavoury, but it is probably a reaction to the soft sentences handed out these days. I am FAR more appalled by the sentence in the link above than someone damaging a rapist. Shouldn't those that 'manage' such issues know better? 4 years for a life FFS

Oh absolutely we need much stiffer sentencing for these terrible crimes, you'll get no arguement from me on that.

If it was the father who shot the rapist, would I condone it? Well no, but I'd sure understand it.

Its funny how these f*ckers are evil terrorists when they blow up a building full of innocent people yet they are heros when they cap a racist who raped an innocent girl, so if they had killed the same girl in one of their explosions would they have to shoot their own kneecaps off ?

Whats next, Sharia Law and Chinese Style death vans ?

I agree that the family have a right to some kind of revenge, but I personally wouldnt want revenge metered out on my behalf.
