It's a very simple operation to be honest, but I'm not yet sure why we haven't yet got CNC strengtheners that turn a block into a closed deck, should be pretty simple to get done and fitting could just be a taper fit, so would only need a little love nudge with a hammer. Even if they ended up slightly proud of the block you could just have the deck face re-faced.
They already have 'filler' type CNC parts to turn a lot of the Honda engines into closed deck.

I took the car off the road and was going to do the engine build in partnership with a tuning company and friend. For reasons i need not go into, and unbeknown to me this friendship was to break down along with my help and alot of my inspiration for the car.
This then left me trying to get my parts back and source others for the build.
But even more so i was completely gutted and upset about the whole situation. I was left disheartened and uninterested in the car. So i decided to leave it and go do something to clear my mind.
I started Freestyle kite buggying, and then before i knew it had entered the British Freestyle Championship and was touring the country competeing. So the car got completely deserted for over a year.
Then about 15 months ago i decided that it was time for me to kick myself up the **** and build the car myself, my way, and on my own. I started sourcing parts and the rest is history as they say. None of this has been done on credit as i dont own any form of credit card. So i had to save, buy a bit, do a bit, work a bit, buy another bit etc etc etc.
So thats added to the time taken too.
So ive been working hard at my day job, also doing private work to help with funding the car. And because im a stickler for detail, will do whatever it takes to get things the way i want them to be.
So 3 years from when i parked her up to today is where i am right now. lol.
Crazy huh?
Sonds cool mate, best of luck if you do
