Well as you know, im kinda stopped waiting on my turbo and some pipework.

Ive spoken with the guys in the US and im assured the turbo is coming out to me within the next few days so i should see it in about 10 days or so. I hope lol. So im not too worried about it, its here when its here ya know.

Ive been sorting other things too, i'll post some more when i receive the parts.

In the meantime. Somthing ive always wanted was a white "Delrin" gearknob. You know the ones you see on the WRC cars. I couldnt find anyone in the UK that made these but found a company in the US that make gearboxes and they agreed to make me one to fit my 6 speed.

Here it is. Dead chuffed with the quality and look. I think it really complements the interior theme well.

I aquired mine from a mate who had some, but if you google search then you will find plenty of places that sell blast media

I am really lovin' the gear ****. They looks very kool.

Just an idea, why not change the passenger seat for an spec c version - the black version - to match the interior as I think the oem blue item looks a little out of place. Unless you have plans, which I am sure you do. Anyway keep up the brilliant work.

If i could buy a black version 7 seat mate i would.

However if you compare the version 7 seats to all the other newage seat you will see that all the later seats were the ones designed for the american market and are thus cut much much wider that that of my seats. My seats are similar in cut to that of the classic seats and are quite snug.

The later seats are useles, sloppy and dont look anywhere near as nice mate

Shame, as it would be a nice look.

I see what you mean. That is a really shame.

But why would Subaru make those spec c seats wider when technically they are only for Japan and, the last time I saw a Japanese they where not fat.

Indeed mate i totally agree. I think mine were the last JDM seats they made.

I guess it must be down to cost. Why make 2 seats when they can get away with one. IMO the spec c especially should have snugger seats. For the record, the version 7 spec c had the same seats as mine, also trimmed in blue.

Version 8 onwards all had the wideboy ones

Just to throw a seat suggestion in how about a basic wrx passenger seat ? They are bucket and IIRC black in colour... I remember Kev's from his old bugeye wrx and they were quite comfortable in the front.
May be worth a quick look at ?
