T26 WRC - Frayz Engineering WRC S8 TARMAC SPECIAL - aka THE BOMBER
Made up most of the fuel lines for the parallel setup tonight. The small line im not happy with which will be redone (thats why its not Nomex covered).
Amazing how time consuming making these up is.
I was dead set on getting the blue fittings anodised black but now im 50:50.
All requires clipping in place and tightening up but i think looks alright at the mo. Once these are complete. The engine is nearing completion and wont be far away from being dropped back into the car.
Exciting stuff eh?

I love watching this piece of art being built. Everything is precise, and purposeful. Top job Frayz

Cheers Micky,
That's exactly what I'm trying to achieve. My build ethic is along the lines of: if Subaru were to have built it, how would they do it? I want it to have as near to OEM finish as possible.
Its dead easy to make things look like they've been modified. But not so easy to do it without looking modified.
Obviously its not standard under there, but I think most people can see what my style is and my take on things. I'm inspired by the likes of RCM and AMS Performance etc.
Hopefully the finished article will have a quality look and feel about it.

Proto #2 is ready to test fit. Numerous changes to this one but the finished article should look a lot more like this. This is only a rough one. The final will be much neater.
Please excuse the phone pic, I've uploaded this direct as I'm excited to show you all some development.

Just something i thought of i assume that you will be running an FMIC so with this little tub you are putting in the inner wing where will the pipework go? Other than that little quandry cracking job and awesome attention to detail.

Lol, you're not the first to ask that mate. If I get this right then more can be made without too much trouble.
Obviously I'm not a business, just an enthusiast.

Yeah ive had a little bit of magazine interest Chris. Although im guessing most people have already seen the car by now. Well at least anyone whos interested anyway haha.
Heres some snaps of proto #2 with a trail instalation. The fit this time is much much better.
Its now ready to have the air feed put in and then test fit once more.
Once the air feed is in and im happy we can go ahead and get a final one made up, cut tidy and actually installed.
Its amazing how much more room this provides for the air filter in the engine bay.
