But your earlier picture with the harnesses shows those wrecked brown seats and I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be black

Drivers one is a nice new black one, the sunlight does not help the picture. The brown one is yours for Sunday

A pic of the race car here at the 30-130 event at Marham with it's new Scoobyclinic Billet sponsorship. You will note mapped by Zen Perfomace still as Paul is the mapper for the car.

And result from the day here - 30-130 Results

Thanks Andy, I am really pleased with how it's going with the race car.

Gearbox is now feeling the strain, planning to go Hawkeye which will certainly help the 1/4's

So while the Blue car has a rest for the next month I will crack on with the Type R, can I actually get it finished for April sometime that's the question

A UK WR1 box, so 1 to 4 are very short. You would have noticed they pass very quickly when you were passenger the other day

No Andy, maybe something for the future. This year the plan is to concentrate on drag with the blue car and TOTB (if picked for the team) and run the White Type R in the Scooby Sprint series if it happens.

Busy day with the cars today, first set off to Bedford early doors to pick up another set of 17's, then took the Billet car off to have a MOT and it had a little photo shoot. My pal is a budding photographer and the shots have turned out very well.

Also had some time on the Type R -

I got a intercooler pipe from SleeperSy last week with a boss for an air temp sensor, but the temp sensor I hoped would fit didn't so I soon sorted that -

Then I trial fitted and soon found out I need to lower the fuel filter

I set the lad on tidying up the wheels we picked up this morning

Fitted the header tank insulating spacers and tank itself, then filled with coolant

I found out with the air filter we have I am going to need some different to standard hoses so measured up and I will get those ordered. Then it's ready to turn over !

sound like a very good combination mate, looking forward to seeing this type r roll, if its half as good as your race car it will be a tool, are you running it on v power or e85 or race fuel mate, as i believe morrisons are taking e85 off sale however in my experience better results have been achieved with e85 from anglo american oil company as it is a true 85% ethenol unlike morrisons which imo is not very consistant.

This will run with 20-25% Meth mix as I have a drum and a half of it

Sy has just changed to that E85 from them I believe and achieved better results than Morrisons stuff.

I'm currently running mine at a 20% mix of methanol, so I'm very interested to see what you guys with high power engines gain with all of these different fuels and mixes

i would love to be able to use meth, but timeattack rules would not allow me its costing a small fortune for me on fuel

I can't go E85 with the Race car as 1000cc injectors are at 93% already and E85 needs much more fuel pushed through. Could go 5th injector but then that lead to more cost etc. May throw some race fuel at it in the future though.
