Slower lol, slowest proper run was 10.18 !
It took a couple of runs to get changes slick tbh, warmth in the tyres helps too. Wheelspin all through first then part of second gear on that first run of 10.18. Left big black lines which Paul and Alyn pointed out when I came round for the second run.

Clive, did you get a video of me driving off without missing any gears?? I went to watch the incar video's I took only to find out that the camera only shoots 30 second clips so all my videos are of me waiting in a queue

Andy, should have come and said hello mate. Would have seen that I am pretty lean at 15 stone 10
Alyn, some of those bikes were fantastic. Nice lads too to chat with, few raised eyebrows when they heard my car was running 9's
Another video here vs a yellow Evo

Spent some time on the Type R, now the new turbo is on I had put some semi 10/40 oil in to try and clear out any possible bits from the failed unit. Ran it yesterday for a few miles and dropped oil again today. There was only tiny bits on the magnetic sump plug, much like you would expect to find after a normal change. So popped another bottle of the semi in this morning to be sure.
Then I fitted a set of Prosport gauges, had them ages but have not got round to putting them in. Still all done now; oil pressure/temp & water.
Then out for a little blast, low boost fine, high boost miss fire so looks like the old set of plugs I put in were past there best. Will get a new set. Still car drove fine, pulled very well

Last couple of days I have removed 3kg from the drag car, parts of loom for airbags etc. Popped road tyres on for dyno time also.
Car is all ready for the Clinic on Friday now, even added new sponsors decals today. Insurance Factory are part of the group I am going to be working for from May.

A little update as I have not been here in a while. The trip to clinic a couple of weeks back didn't go to plan as car has issues on the rollers with wheel spin then a leaking uppipe gasket killed power, was circa 680.
Since I have replaced headers, well yesterday actually and fitted a new gasket. Skull fudge supplied headers from his car, they were cracked but a pal of Clive sorted them so they are stronger than new.
You will see in pic the old gasket was not sealing right.
Also have new wheels a drag tyres, well belong to Mikee Singh actually but I will see how they go. Weight is only 14.9kg a corner !!!

Type R is ready also, all recent issues sorted and fixed miss fire yesterday with a new set of plugs.
So both cars ready for Shootout tomorrow

Fantastic day for the drag car today, 9.83 then a 9.69 @ 137/1.55 60ft then 9.81 in the shooyout vs Paul Martin driving the Lateral Banana that ran 9.62 vs myself.
Paul managed a 11.4 in R with the clutch starting to slip.
Worth mentioning the 30 mph head wind too !
Thanks to all the helpers and sponsors
Not many vids as Paul was busy driving but did get the shootout run
