Well I must say that the white car turned up for mapping last weekend and I was very happy with the level of preperation. I have some privateer cars come that are much worse, and would you believe it some of the worst cars come from traders!

Sure are mate, they are BF Drag radials. Using the same as Mikee, Paul, Sy etc have used in the past so hopefully 60's should tumble.

Will post up results good or bad like usual and will make sure the proper video camera is charged this time rather than having to make do with my phone

Oh yes, they have the more sharper stepped edge for the "stud well". Prefer the 1.0's over the 1.2's for that very reason - more aggressive looking lol

Loads of final prep on both cars today ready for tomorrow. White car has had it's cage side bar fitted. Yesterday the front bumper was sprayed and whole car buffed. Came up quite nice.

Little more weight removed from the blue car, fitted the drag wheels and tyres and adjusted the coilovers so they went under the arches. Also popped my wideband AFR gauge I have had sat around for ages.

Well a good day all in all. I ran approx 10 runs only one was poor where I missed a gear all the others were 10.6 or faster. Terminals were down even though I can now make the line in 4th. I put it down to the scorching weather and the Syvecs pulling a little timing. Still best run of 10.38 @ 132 was very pleasing.

The Type R had a good debut with Paul piloting that one. Best run of 12.2 although did not get that one on video. My little lad missed a few bless him.

Anyway a couple of pics and videos for you
