Tonight I fitted the battery tray as car now needs to be ready for mapping Saturday. Had to move the original date booked due to work but luckily Paul @ Zen is going to squeeze me in Saturday morning...top man !

Type R was dropped off this morning for geometry set up, off to Zen for mapping tomorrow morning. Let's hope it makes target figures of 450/420 ?

Just back from Zen and car did very well 412bhp @ 1.6 bar. Reason for low boost is the turbo. Although it's a 321T the turbo started life as a HKS 28/35 so exhaust housing is smalled than normal, just has a 321T core. This however helps spool greatly, 1 bar by 2900 and full boost by 3500 on the road ! Now that's better spool than a 321H as Paul compared my graph to a very similar spec car he had mapped previously and our T out spooled that by nearly 1000rpm on the rollers !
Paul also got his corner weights out and adjusted the coilovers for perfect weight distribution. Car weighed in @ 1193kg with 1/3 tank of fuel

Really good Steve, way more responsive than I thought it would be tbh. I was expecting it to be similar to my old wagon with the RCM400 on it but it spools way quicker. You will see how good the power band is from the graph above.
Good few tests coming up with Santa Pod next weekend, then we have a sprint at Barkston Heath and the June Elvington sprint so we will see how it goes in real anger

From: Newcastle. 330bhp-289lb/ft @ 1bar boost - 12.4s @ 105mph
I'm gonna get Paul or Steven to do a proper 1/4 in my car with my drag tyres on but that won't count as it won't be me
It was going to be loaned to Paul last year when we had problems with the engine

I would say you could create two types of hangers that use the same bolt holes as the top supports for the window (the bit that goes on the top of the door) and let then drop down on the inside of the door with like a hook to hold the window up... should be enough support i would say, and little/no welding involved.

Dont ever use perspex, it shatters real easy.
Lexan is what your after.
IMHO plastic windows suck anyway due to all the scratches, personally I would carry the extra weight. LOL

Clive,
Looking good! I must admit I do quite like the classic / gurney flap look.
Steve,
When is yours going to be back on the road..... what power you realistically looking at this time?

Shaun, I have been told off Steven sometime in June. I ain't been in too much of a hurry for it as it meant paying for it all and work has been quiet so funds were low
I'm expecting around 600bhp either below or above??? I'm hoping the cam pullies will get the extra few ponies ??
