As i said above yes it is a feature of the alarm, however it is not tested as part of the thatcham certification (or at least wasnt when i last checked) and as such the default option for it is disabled.
If you are going to enable it, cover yourself by getting it in writing from your insurance company that they are happy for you to have it activated, as it is far safer to cover yourself doing this, than them using it as an excuse to to pay out a claim.

got the blackjax sorted lads
the installer through the laptop found that the brake light switch was the area where the problem was....
when he inspected,he found one of the wires was not soldered into the original wiring properly.....
happy days
