DIY 550bhp 2.5 STI V3 Type R
Sorry chaps I thought I'd posted up last night.
Anyway before I post the graphs I would just like to express my sincere thanks to Simon for his awesome advice over the past few weeks and his superb mapping. I would also like to thank Paul for his help and use of his dyno, again at short notice. Thankyou so much guys
I'm absolutely delighted with how the car drives on the road. Its just awesome and proper brutal.
I've had many locals telling me their cars are running 500+ and I've always thought they were talking bollocks. Mine at 540 puts theirs into the shade by a significant margin. Its incredibly livelly yet very driveable at the same time. I'm so happy with it I'm inclined to just leave it as it is. I can honestly say its as quick as a k2 Gixer 1000 and I'm more than happy with that.
Its been a massive struggle to finish the car especially with being made redundant and the financial crap that comes with such a situation. I'm glad the friends I have made on here encouraged me to carry on and not throw the towel in. A particular note of thanks has to go to both Clive's for just cheering me up when I considered throwing the towel in. Today has made all the crap low moments with the project seem completely insignificant.
Anyway sorry for waffling but I'm as happy as a pig in sh*t tonight. Without further a do here's the graphs. I'm delighted with the results especially considering I'm on non ported wrx heads and using standard wrx cams.

excellent work,i have been watching this one from the start and must say the quality and effort that has been put into it is amazing.glad its all come together and worked out the way you wanted it to.question is, whats next.

Seriously though, Note to self, do NOT use anything other than Cal 1 in the wet!!
Spinning all four wheels and drifting across lanes on the motorway in 6th is slightly uncomfortable.
Well done daz for sticking with it and what a result mate, graph looks sweet i can see why its so good on the road
ps four wheel spin in 6th in the wet would be more than uncomfortable mate

I've posted this in the gallery section however I though it would be interesting to post in Daz's thread to compare graphs having had a very rewarding mapping session with Paul of Zens yesterday.
Jeez, the car feels & sounds so different!!

Crikey mine does spoolup quickly by comparision. On full boost 1200rpm sooner and with a bigger turbo.
Identical power figures though mine reaches peak torque a bit sooner.
shame you're not coming to SSO Clive would have been a hoot to go up the strip side by side
