Some two weeks after the crash, do you feel said comment has somewhat lost its 'impact'.

After what seems an eternity I've almost come to an agreement with the insurance company. They've classified the car as a Cat C and have allowed me to keep it. They've also offered a payout which is almost where I want it to be but not quite. I've accepted their offer as an interim payment and am now negotiating to have that increased.

Sent my documents off today so should be ready to get cracking on something else in the near future.

Brilliant news! These things do take some time. Feels like an eternity though. Fingers crossed you can start stripping it soon.

That's good to hear. I've just done a search on you to see if you were still about, not seen any of your posts for ages mate.

Looking forward to your next project.

Very glad to hear you have got a "satisfactory" resolution to this nightmare.
Best of luck with the new project.

Yeah still around just been keeping a low profile since the accident. Must have been the knock on the head.

Glad to hear it Daz. There's quite a few 2 door shells about at the moment for under a £1k. Any idea what plans you have, rebuild or new direction? I take it the engine was relatively undamaged?.

I will also blast and powder coat all the subframes hubs arms etc.

I may even go as far as a wide arch kit, I LOVE the car in this pic but it would have to be a different colour.

Any suggestions on colours though?

I just want it to look as good as my white one did.
Any more info/pics on this car?
