Great to see it rolling now Daz and glad you seem to have the teething problems under control.
Best of luck for the mapping mate, its been a long time coming and the rewards will be very well deserved.
Great job

Ok update time. Finally started mapping at around 10:30pm last night after trying to sort some cam sensor issues. Only managed a few pulls before a misfire presented itself. Conclusion was the plugs need changing. However with virtually no ignition timing, only 0.5bar of boost and 50% throttle it made 354 bhp. Simon also said that even though the vvt isn't wired up yet it spools incredibly well. Annoyingly on the way home the misfire cleared itself however I'm now getting det at anything over 0.8bar. From the run home I can tell that it's going to be bloody quick. My last scooby was 450bhp and at 0.8 bar this one ****s all over it. It certainly upset a focus rs driver on the way home last night when we literally left him standing when we left trowel services together lol. Anyway it's a cracking start,
on 2.2 bar with working vvt heads It's going to be insane!!!!!

OK a quick update.
I popped down to Zen yesterday to pick up some door cards that paul had kindly promised me. Whilst there Paul offered to have look at the annoying little cam sensor issue that we'd been having.
Anyway four hours later problem solved with the additions of now fully working AVCS heads, wideband fitted and loom made. Inlet air temp wired up and working and 4port boost control solenoid wired up but disconnected at the connector until mapping time.
So a massive thanks to both Paul and Rich aka Ren for working on my car at extremely short notice i.e me turning up out of the blue.
The car is now completely ready for Simon to map to its potential on Tuesday. It can't come soon enough. Paul made sure it was safe for me to drive home. Pushed it to 1 bar and its going to be bloody quick. in 6th I'm seeing 1 bar by 3600rpm thats with hardly any timing and withut the boost control wired up. So wastegate spring only. It's going to be interesting once mapped that's for sure

I thought Simon expressed the look of Daz's car well by saying it has a great presence which is correct. Daz followed me for several miles in his beast and it looks a right street thug in your centre mirror.
Glad it's coming together for you now buddy

Been a silent lurker for a while mate but been following the thread from the start, looking forward to seeing the outcome and how the car performs in the future, a big thumbs up from me before all of that though seeing all the work and effort you`v put in, good show fella.
