Very good mate. I was getting there that day I was last with you. Several low 11's then broke shaft 2 runs last week and broke other shaft, that's a differecnt sort of consistancy

I'll be missing half my trim, as I will be bringing some seats down for someone in my car and the easiest way to do it is to fit them in mine Will probs only have a drivers seat on saturday

New one in as of today However sticking with standard ones for now, my old ones were in pretty poor condition tbf. I bought 2 STI 7 ones, so now have a spare too

Anyway who was it broke one in 2 places ?

Back on a serious note have you got all your 'power' bits sorted on your car now Sy ? And hows that secret item coming along ?

Mad,

rear shafts now fitted (after quite a few modifications),replaced rear wheel bearings while I was at it and raised the rear suspension a tad- fronts shafts will now be next to break I guess.

Inlet Manifold has been machined to accept larger Throttle body, I worked out how to get the Larger TB to work with the Motec, New Lambda Sensor fitted,(Wiring fault on injector caused lambda to fail after it was flooded with fuel), curently making an 80mm IC pipe, just waiting for another raw lenght of pipe to arive to finish it.

Hopefully this will liberate a few more horses.

Secret weapon is still in transit.

Take it you went with the uprated shafts then ? What are the reasons for raising the rear ?

yer - the pic is a comparision of the new and old one i removed - they claim they are good for 1200hp- but warranty is very limited - they came with special hubs as the splines are larger and longer and the studs were the wrong thread/lenght - I also had to mod the exhaust to clear them -but all sorted now.

Raised and slightly stiffened the rear to keep the car in a more normal/neutral stance when launching.

Peter,

Get a cheap flight to Luton, Ill pick you up on the way up, and drop you back on the way back.

Unless you were planning that your car will be ready in which case the pod is about 60miles north of london.

Not for a while yet. It's in a million pieces again. Just had it painted properly. Just trying to save for and source a decent gearbox.

I'll be lucky if it turns a wheel this year.

And i hope its worth the wait when it's finished
